You’re a positive and very motivational person! That’s another reason why I like watching your channel and also all the towing, excavator and truck videos 😎

A non recommended mod for any hydraulically powered machinery from tractors to excavators which do a lot of basically stationary work at max revs to drive the hydraulics, is to upgrade the hydraulic pump to a moderately higher output unit. This enables similar output/ work at lower revs, so you don't kill your engine as quickly. Providing you don't over use the additional hydraulic power available you are not overloading your machine, it's a little like repowering a vehicle or machinery with a bigger motor, you don't need to work it harder, it's just easier to use/ work. Eg you don't drive an old repowered truck any faster, it is just nicer under load, on hills etc The proviso is a sensible operator not taking crazy advantage of the extra power, but from an operator perspective, it is much nicer and easier if you can use the same machine, doing the same work at moderate revs rather than screaming at max revs all day, and there is less wear and tear on your engine It's not unlike adding a small turbo to an underpowered or somewhat tired engine, it doesn't run out of puff as quickly, and if used sensibly can actually extend engine life

I put filters on the power steering systems of my cars, and it doesn't hurt to change those fluids once every 5 years or so either. sure a lot easier than changing a rack

Should just buy Kubota filters, better filters and sometimes even a little less money than aftermarket/napa

Aluminum gear pumps start destroying themselves the first time they crank up. They slowly lose efficiency every day it's used. The only thing you can do is try to keep the oil clean.
