Having had Stage IV breast cancer that metastasized to my bones and being a current Marodyne user, I found this video absolutely fascinating!! I miraculously have been cancer free for 17 years after one round of chemo but have now been on Herceptin since then and will be on it for the rest of my life. I walked before, during and after chemo and have always thought that exercise contributed to my miraculous result. I bought the Marodyne because I was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis. After watching this, I am excited about all the other potential benefits it may have. Thank you so much for all the wonderful information you provide and to all your wonderful guest experts.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Dr. Guise. And congratulations on your success with your treatment. I'm a triple negative breast cancer survivor as of 2020 (chemotherapy & immunotherapy w/o radiation). Since that point, I've had back and hip issues, including osteopenia/early onset osteoporosis as was recently revealed to me when I requested a scan. I wish anyone would have discussed how to proceed with building bones, but no doctor has had that conversation with me (and I've seen many). What type(s) of physicians might be aware of low intensity vibration therapy? If I was to bring this up to an oncologist or rheumatologist, etc., who might know and could this be available to us soon?

Very interesting. I’ve had liver cancer, but the nodule was removed, no chemo needed. I have been on prednisone for 7 years for an autoimmune disease. I have osteopenia at 64. Thinking about purchasing LIV, but the platform is quite pricey and would hate for it not to work for my condition.

I am really fascinated, so thank you so much for your continual support. As I suffer from osteoporosis in my age 68 I am thinking of getting this vibration platform. But I am from a small country in Europe I can' t find such goods here. There are only higher vibration plates on the market, unfortunately. Warm regards from Prague, Czech Republic 😊

TY, Margaret! Low bone density and an increase in osteopenia as a result of an aromatase inhibitor is exactly what I have been experiencing in my life right now. Can you provide guidelines on what to look for in a LIV platform. I am planning to purchase one as soon as I make a decision on the best best one for my needs.

Hi Margaret. What I hear is that it is more benefical for one to take a drug in addition to LIV? I thought in the past that your stance was to avoid drugs if possible. I may have interpreted your stance incorrectly? Thank you.
@margaretmartinpt6 ай бұрын
Not quite. Dr. Guise states that they found the LiV helped make the medications more effective. Second, I am not against medications for osteoporosis and have never stated so. They can play an important role in bone formation, especially for individuals at high risk of fracture. For these people, exercise and nutrition cannot get them there fast enough. However, I do emphasize to my clients that the medication process needs to be managed well.

@margaretmartinpt Understood and thank you for your explanation and for the reminder of your views on bone medication.

Margaret, I recently had a bone density scan after using the Marodyne since March, 2022. I'm having a hard time interpreting the results. Can you interpret my results if I send you a copy? Or could you refer me to someone who can? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
@margaretmartinpt6 ай бұрын
Hi @nena5437. I only review these results during a session. There is a fee for my time, but you can purchase a session here: learn.melioguide.com/individual-coaching-60-minutes

We really appreciate your interview with these Doctors and the clarity they gave to bone remodelling in cancer patients. My husband, 70 yrs. has Lymphoma and since July 2023 has been taking chemo "smart pill" Brukinsa,, a BTK protein inhibitor,. He has been using the LIV Marodyne I bought Dec 2022 for my osteopenia a few times a week but after seeing your interview resolves to twice a day.like me, 10 mins ea. time. I have consistently used the Marodyne in addition to the weight routine you assisted me with when you lived near us. My next BMD test is not until March 2026 and I look forward to getting the results. We really appreciate all the educating you do on line with peer reviewed literature as well as interviews with researchers and clinicians. It is very exciting that the LIV is approved in Portugal.. Best always, Bernice and Don

It would have been helpful if you had asked specifically what amplitude and vibration rate your guests found effective with patients or in research. Failing that, ask what brand/model they themselves use.
@margaretmartinpt6 ай бұрын
There was no need to ask since the optimal amplitude and clock rate is configured automatically according to your weight and balance.
