Excellent points made, mainly the foundation of enhancing situational awareness for low/ no light environments.

Thanks for the video. My EDC light is a Foursevens Quark Pro 2AA. Small enough to carry comfortably for me, big enough to use as an impact tool, and a simple UI.

Great stuff there! I always carry my light and am very aware of my surroundings all the time. Guess it's a force of habit but knowing the capabilites of a flashlight gives me confidence. Can't carry a gun here so my last resort would be a knife.

@SageDynamics I'm in the market for a new handheld light. I've narrowed it down to two light but I'm open to suggestions. The lights I've narrowed it down to are the Surefire P3X Fury Tactical and the Surefire ET2-MV Tactician "Yeager" light that will be coming out at the end of September. Thoughts?

islas357 yep, he talks about it in a more recent video. Nice to see instructors evolve and admit faulty reasoning.

How do you feel about some of the SureFire combat lights that utilize the central ring? Something like the P2ZX Fury CombatLight for example.
