Let's say a .fbx has two meshes combined. One low poly version mesh (x) and one standalone mesh (y). Now, if we add in the high poly version mesh (x') for baking in substance, will it only bake details on x??

Mujhe substance m texture set option m ak doubt hai ki agr mai 3,4 texture set leta hu toh texture export kerne pe sub alg export honge toh prblm yeah ki usse marmoset toolbag m kaise set karunga... Shrf ak texture set rahe toh ho jayega but jada texture set hone pe kaise render kiya jaye marmoset toolbag mein.. Agr apke pass iska solution ho toh please share with me. 🙏🏻

Did you make low poly by retopology or with a different method ? I modeled a katana in maya in low-med poly count and then copied the entire mesh and smoothed it with 2 divisions to make it high poly but when i try to bake it in substance, it does not bake it properly into the high poly. My naming is done properly and my UV's are fine in low poly.

Make sure to play with frontal distance value in baking options (this may take few trials) or make lowpoly cage and import in substance baking option as cage this may slove your problem

@@kumarraph58 I imported a certain part of the model into substance painter, low poly and the one with very high sub D. I showed it to my friend and he told me i should have made high poly model first and then deleted edges to make low poly, he also said my low poly could be better to match the high poly but he could not fix it since he does not have his laptop with him. Maybe i can send you the obj file and you can take a look at it ? It would help out alot.
