3ds max is not worth the money - I was stupid enough to have wasted literally thousands upon thousands of pounds using their software - it's slow as hell, a lot of the key shortcuts don't even work and there is no live render. This day and age - 3ds max is really not worth the money they ask.

I´m stuck at 21:45, I can´t make the wheel because when I press E and scale it down, it doesn´t look like a wheel and I followed the video step by step and I am press E and then S, but it lacks the "outer" sides and it looks like a cable wheel. FIX: Instead of using Extrude and Scale, press "I" (for Inset) then "B" to change the inset mode, it's gonna work!!!

@CG Geek, at 16:36 , you can press "I", then "B" to turn off the bounds, instead of extruding and scaling. If you disable bounds, then the extra face won't be there . BTW, I'm happy that someone made something out of the default cube 😜😜😜.

Anonymous Source if you still need this, you have to have your pivot point at 0 on whichever axis you are trying to mirror to. It mirrors against the little yellow dot’s location rather than global xyz.
