After my low blood test results I went on to speak with a Dr at Optimale. Following that consultation I received my first prescription in the post. I discuss the options I had and what I eventually chose to do. If you are suffering from tiredness, lack of libido, aches and pains, overweight it could be your hormones. It is well worth checking out. I used Optimale, so far they have been superb and very affordable. Check the other vidoes in this playlist to watch from start to now..

Good luck going forward. What may be another option: There are also testosterone pellets, that get injected and last for a few months, providing a constant stream of testosterone. I don't know how the situation in the UK is, but in some countries the testosterone replacement therapy can be paid for by your medical insurance.

Thanks for producing these videos. You’re a great communicator and it’s really helpful for guys like me. I’m the same age as you and my testosterone levels are borderline low. I recently made lifestyle changes, gym 6 days a week, diet, sleep, etc. in the hope that my numbers will improve. If they don’t improve after I’ve shifted the excess weight then TRT is the next logical step. The doctor at the clinic I had my consultation with promotes a daily ‘micro dosing’ regimen to reduce fluctuations in test levels and minimise side effects. I’m curious to see how you get on with 2 shots a week. I’m also curious about international travel. I guess if you have a prescription it’s fine. But I’m not sure I’d fancy explaining to some overly officious customs officer, in a country with super strict laws, why I’ve got testosterone and hypodermic needles in my suitcase 😅

I'm in the USA and cypionate is $25-$35 for a 10ml @200mg/per ml vial at Walgreens (chain pharmacy). Most places don't like to do the 10ml vials because of supposed degradation issues, but Walgreens does for sure. I have been getting blood tests pretty regularly, and there doesn't seem to be any loss of potency by the time I'm done with a vial. So at 1ml/200mg a week, that's $25-$35 for a two and a half month supply. Syringes are pretty cheap. This is, however being prescribed by a Doctor that I already see regularly for a different health problem. If you don't already have a family doctor with a subscription type of payment plan, then I would advise going through the company mentioned on the video. I know guys that are paying more than $250 a month at places that are a lot less professional than the company mentioned above. One guy in particular has been paying $300 a month, for 10yrs from a Doctor that advertised on Craigslist. He hasn't submitted a blood test since the very first one (sounded like it was bogus anyway).

IMO there are “normal” test levels, and then there are “optimal” test levels. I had all the symptoms of low test but a blood test showed that mine was within the normal range (at the lower end). I tried all the supplements and other “natural” methods and they made little or no difference. So what next? Well in Australia you virtually have to be a eunuch to get TRT (which is in stark contrast to how the system looks after menopausal women btw), so the only option is to self medicate. That’s what I did, and within a few weeks of low-dose test I was back to being “me” again. Is this the right way to do it? Absolutely not. But what choice do we men have? The medical system is not geared up to treat the andropause at all; in fact it actively discourages treatment until your hormonal levels have reached rock bottom. And one further point: when were these “normal” test levels measured and set as the benchmark? They say that test levels in men have been falling for decades, so would today’s “normal” have been considered low in the 1960s or ‘70s? If so, why are we using these historically low levels as the benchmark? All in all, I think that the medical system is failing us men badly in this respect.

@thatgearguy 2 күн бұрын
Yes, The Drs consultation is charged at around £70. Once you are on a monthly payment for your treatment and follow ups or further consultation is included in the price so no hidden fees. All in you are looking at around £170 before treatment begins (2 blood tests and consultation) followed by the monthly charge depending on which treatment you choose (mine was £60 per month). Given that the average price of black market testosterone is about £40 per month I would say it is worth the extra £20. 1. You are not breaking any laws or dealing with dodgy folk. 2. You know you are getting the right stuff at the right strength. 3. You get regular bloodwork reviewed by professionals who can spot any serious issues.

You're mildly wrong about test pills, they do make test u pills which basically megadose of the very long ester and hope some absorbs. Obviously this is not ideal, much better off with injections. Also subcutaneous injections will absorb slower than intramuscular which is something to consider. Burns though. 2x weekly sust is fine seems like the doctor really knows his stuff. Much better than nhs 1g test u every 12 weeks where you feel like shit for the last 4 weeks and have to go and get them to inject it for you. You'll be fine injecting with short 27g needles which you'll have to purchase from a medical supply company. Sharper than those awful unisharp needle exchange needles though. Maybe in your shoulders not arse though if you have a bit of fat better off with the 25g.
@thatgearguy
@thatgearguy Күн бұрын
The pills are called Andriol. They totally suck because they have such a short useful life in the body. To stabilize blood levels with those would require regular daily dosing. They will also exert more impact on liver and kidneys as they will work overtime to get rid of them.

It is amazing that they still prescribe sustanon which is a very bad choice for trt. The prop will peak with in 24 hours then you have longer esters. It does not take weeks to feel it. Enanthate injected every 4th day is optimal for pretty much everybody on TRT. Since the weekly dose is low taking is daily is a bad idea since you never reach high enough peaks. If you take bodybuilding doses sure split it daily but not trt. You said you take 1.6ml twice weekly that is NOT a low dose it is a bodybuilding cycle. Sustanon is 250mg per ml so 1.6ml twice is 800mg per week when a real trt dose is 100-200mg per week. You can use 27g needles fine with thick oils.
