Perfect reveiw. Also ideal backpack for me. 500 AW II is great, when I need a lot of gear. 200 AW II is kinda small even for small shoots, 300 AW II is great. Unfortunately it is EOL now and the make version 300 AW III, which has unfortunately access from one side, which is a no-no for me.

Perfect backpack for MTB or regular bike tours if you want to take the Sony 200-600mm with the camera mounted with you, without having to get off the bike every time you need the camera thanks to Flipside. The 200 AWII is too small for this, the newer 300 AWIII is too angular and bulky, the AW Trek variants do not have full access to the back, only the lower half, the Protactic 350 is also too big and bulky, but the old 300 AWII is absolutely perfect, exactly for this purpose.

Do you think this backpack is perfect for a mavic 3 and a mini 3 pro and 2 controllers ?

I will say it does fit the mavic 3 with the DJI RC with built in screen, but it’s tight, the mavic 3 somehow is larger than the mavic 2

Are you still using the bag or did you upgrade to version III. My first flip side was the first gen. I got the 3rd gen.

Could it hold a Nikon D4 standing inside? Is it deep enough?

I’m not sure of the size of that but it holds my EOS RP with battery grip no issues

Not sure but I fit my EOS RP with a Tamron 70-210 f/4 with the EOS R to ER adapter and also the canon EOS RP with the 600mm f/11 collapsed
