i bought the 350 ( stays open and same size for my d850s) after having a lowepro back pack 15 years ago i dropped it in the sea from a kayak .. i fished it out to my amazement everything was ok . the bag absorbed a fair bit of sea water but everything lived to fight another 15 years ...

I hold the tripod on the side but it flops.aroumd alot. The way you mount it..did you strap it on the bottom to?.I couldn't see as the video showing that bit was a bit fast

it is a stupid question but it's important for me.. is the zipper good and will les for long time and use? usually this is the main reason that i have to change cheap bags.

Ah, on the plane^^ I would do checked luggage. I flew with it already quite often and it always perfectly worked out. I always have enough space for additional items like a news magazine in it.

Okay, I'm sorry, probably didn't understand it properly. To clarify again. I would only bring it as hand luggage into the cabin with me. I would not check it in, so it goes to the general luggage. I think it would work out if there is no other way, but the equipment is too expensive as if I would leave it out of my eyes.

If it only rains medium strong you don't even have to use the rain cover. At least I don't do and it didn't get wet inside. If I would have to use the rain cover, I would carry the tripod over my shoulder, like the army carries their machines guns :D

darf ich auch in Deutsch schreiben? Ich hätte eine ganz wichtige Frage... und zwar kann man den Lowepro Flipside 400AW auch bei voller Beladung (ohne Stativ) nach vorne drehen und ihn als "Flipside" benutzen? Oder muss man dann immer einen Fuß nach oben heben als Stütze? Wenn ich den Fuß nicht nehmen würde, würde dann der Lowepro Flipside 400AW nach vorne wegkippen oder noch schlimmer die Nähte des Beckengurtes reissen? Ich stelle mir das schwierig vor auf einem Bein die Kamera zu entnehmen und dann möglicherweise auch noch ein Objektiv zu wechseln.... Ich bin die ganze Zeit am hin und her Überlegen zwischen den Lowepro Flipside 400 AA und den XTREMplus Dynamik Schuttle L. Der XTREMplus Dynamik Schuttle L hat nämlich genau für mein beschriebenes Problem bzw. Befürchtung, zwei zusätzliche Beckengurte, die den Rucksack waagrecht halten sollten. Aber anscheinend ist die Verarbeitungsqualität des XTREMplus Dynamik Schuttle L eher besch.... eiden ;) und daher bin ich auf der Suche nach einer Alternative. Würde mich über deine Erfahrungswerte freuen! Danke! LG

Hallo Luke, ich habe den Rucksack oft voll beladen, sodass kein weiters Teil reinpassen würde und habe noch nie Probleme gehabt, dass der Rucksack nach vorne kippt (ohne Stativ). Mein schwerstes Gewicht ist 2 DSLRs, 4 Objektive, Mikrofon, Filter, Extrabatterien... Meine DSLRs sind aber nicht die schwersten und die Objektive keine schweren Tele. Zudem muss ich auch sagen, dass ich den Rucksack nicht so oft in diesem "Modus" nutze und meine Erfahrung somit eingeschränkt ist. Leider habe ich den Rucksack gerade auch nicht bei mir und kann es somit nicht testen. Solange du den Beckengurt aber einigermaßen fest machst, sollte es kein Problem sein, da die Unterseite des Rucksacks sich an deinem Bauch abstützt und er somit gar nicht weiter runter kippen kann, solage er nicht extrem "obenlastig", in der horizontale dann also "frontlastig" wäre.

Wouldn't say water proof but very water resistant. Walked once through super heavy rain with it. No water came in but the humidity in the bag got so strong that over night water went into my camera display. Disappeared after having the camera in the sun.

Erst einmal danke für ein reines Faktenvideos ohne viel drumherum Gelaber! Zweitens: Du kannst ja anscheinend fließend Englisch sprechen (abgelesen oder frei mag ich jetzt nicht vermuten wollen). Aber bitte änder doch etwas an deiner Aussprache. Ich habe sofort erkannt, dass hier ein Deutscher sprechen muss, und bei Besuch deines Profils das dann auch bestätigt bekommen :D Es tut bei manchen Wörtern echt ein wenig weh, die so zu hören ;-) Wenn du das hinbekommst (gut dein Video hier ist von 2014, habe jetzt keine neueren von dir angesehen bisher), dann wären das rundum gute Videos. Edit: Die neueren Videos sind doch schon meilenweit besser!
