Also, would you know if the titan wheel hub fit the frontier knuckle? there are more wheels for titan than frontier.

That ball joint didn't have a grease nipple. mine is like that. can I drill and tap in the middle of the top to install a grease nipple? or are these supposed to be already greased?

No you do not have drill a hole for a grease fitting. They already have grease in the and should last a long time. Good question. Thank you. 👍

Hi, where can I buy the ball joint removal kit? And I've got a cordless rattle gun with about 550nm of torque. Will that be enough to do the job?

If you go to the description of the video there is a link for that tool. It’s the second link that’s a good kit. And I think your gun should have plenty of torque to be able to do this job. 👍

@@marcogonzalez7829 Yes this kit is pretty much a universal kit that will work on all vehicles. It’s great many uses I bought one 20 years ago and have used it on many projects.

No I think it might be easier. I think those are bolted in. You might have to drill out some rivets but other than that no specialty tools or anything.

Lol you like that? That’s custom made. That was an internal component from a transfer case That was junk. I just gridded down one end like a pencil. It works great I’ve had it for a long time.

If you’re doing a front axle most of the steps are the same. Once you get the knuckle off and out of the way. Then you can pry the axle out of the front differential. Thank you for checking out the video. And for the feedback. 😁👍

Got both sides to the point of dropping the knuckle off the ball joint 1:55 and neither will move. Looks to me you cut something out of the vid that broke that seal so hitting it would work. Seems like most videos are doing this, they all gloss over it.

OK I think I know what you’re talking about. What I did was use a long punch and tried to hammer down on the knuckle to break it free from the lower ball joint it needs to slide down. Make sure you take that lower bolt out of the knuckle. I hope this helps.

@@AndyTheXTech thanks for the reply. I had been hammering like you had on and off for a week with no result. Wasn't until I hammered a cold chisel into the expansion slot where the bolt came out that it went anywhere. An hour of that both sides and got it done. Thanks for the vid, would never have tried this job if not for it.
