And I bought this huge bottle of potassium pills! I even bought salmon! Years ago I printed out your recipes and they didn’t work for me. This time I’m ready and my life depends on my compliance. I must follow through. My daughter’s been eating my black beans, she didn’t put the lid on them, my husband wanted some and ended up wearing them! Thank you for your great attitude and putting out the information nobody else cares enough and to take the time to explain. The y’s are so important. I love you Zona Foco!

Would be nice to see her program for type 2 diabetics…low carb diet. Fruit, rice, potatoes, etc.hike up glucose levels.

I have to tell you too! I have a foodie channel, so I keep up with my blood levels. I had been indulging on a popular cookie franchise for about 16 weeks, on a weekly basis, leading up to my most recent blood test. I was alarmed when my cholesterol reading came back high! This was the first time in my 57 yrs! Everything else was great, but LDL was high. I started researching & found your page, recommending the 3 important foods. I also ordered the Daily Defender Chart which is on my fridge still. I began eating salads with everything on the chart daily (& still do)! ..and lowered my LDL 68 points in 3 mos! 🙌🏼 My Dr originally wanted to put me on a statin, and I said no, I wanna do this thru diet. Now I only allow myself one day a week to indulge in whatever I want. Other than, I eat clean!❤❤ Thanks for the great advise!

@@JustJojo111 thank you for responding...just like yours mine labs looked fine only the LDL were 168 just 2 more than last year....Doctor want to put u on statin....when I know why it increased and I don't think she wanted to listen that day....I don't necessarily consider that number as "high" but she seem so gong ho about calling it high cholesterol....To each its own I think I can get it down with diet and walking....she didn't respond much when I mention a better diet so she wrote the prescription....Not taking it....not yet anyway....I'm going to do diet and walking for three months get a test done and from there I'll know what to continue with...But hearing you @JustJojo111 68 down wow.Thats a real motivator for me. Did you eat salmon along with your diet or all veges and fruit and nuts or flaxseeds etc...tell me please

@@jt-zg8tr good for you! I’m so glad I didn’t take the statin, I have read too many dangers about them. And like you, I knew what the problem was that created the high LDL, so I simply fixed it by going cold turkey lol. I had lotsa greens, Brussels, spinach, almonds, flax and chia seeds, oat bran, avocado, tangerines, apples, berries, lotsa black beans, tuna, salmon, and more! Im sure I’m forgetting things, but I just researched “foods that lower LDL cholesterol/foods high in soluble fiber”..and made sure to eats lots everyday! I STILL eat them daily, they’re the staple of my diet, so I’m sure my LDL is even lower today. Some food is a poison, but HEALTHY high soluble food is a MEDICINE! ❤️

I'm not part of your program but I have lost 50 lbs eating right and eating LESS. My cholesterol is up though. I need to address this. In my case, I have found that the more I eat healthy the less I want unhealthy food. I'd rather have salad then pizza.

I don't eat meat other than fish. Will this way of eating work for me? I am a type 1 diabetic and my last A1c was 7.2 and my cholesterol as usual is off the charts 😞
