Looks like a pretty good rake front to back. I had that same suspension setup on my L and it didn’t have that much drop, probably cuz of the added weight of the HD. I’d either cut 1-1.5 coils off the stock spring and ride with that if you want it a bit higher to level out to the rear; or drop hangars in the rear will certainly do it. When I had drop hangars and shackles, the shackles had to be on the highest setting, JLP shackles and no frame notch. Never bottomed out and hit the frame. It sat pretty level but also had lowering LCAs. Will definitely need either rear shock extenders to get the working angle right or adjustable shocks in the rear.

Its a bit low for a daily. I'll have to look, I might have some different front springs we can toss in it. Hotchkiss 1.5" just gotta see if I still have them

Drove it around yesterday with the fam and cleared everything no issues. By daily I mean I drive the feeder/hwy 7min to work and back and rotate with the Mach. They get some weekend action every now and then but all depends because we have the 2017 F150 too.

No sir, doesn't bottom out. Newer video had hangers installed to level it out. Only thing I added was shock extenders to give these shocks more travel.

Thanks boss and yeah that's what I'm thinking 🫤 just didn't wanna do it to this truck. It rides good and doesn't scrape anywhere but I think hangers will make it sit perfect.

If you put hangers in the back to drop it even . Your gonna need to do a c notch or a bed notch. Or it will hit the frame on bumpy roads. I did the bed notch a lot more clearance.

@johngonzales2883 I have hangers on both lightnings with no notch. My black one I went back to stock shackles because my fiberglass leafs dropped it too much and wife's Red one has hangers and shackles but surprisingly doesn't bottom out. I'll probably move shackle up a hole to help out.

Yes sir, it's one of my dailys. Same engine as lightnings and I've owned my black lightning for 18yrs. As long as you do your maintenance these trucks are solid and will run forever! This changes a bit once you start with engine mods on stock block but still make them move safely just do your research!

@@DaReal_JZ right i left mine stock incase I have to haul a motor to the machine shop, put a load in the back or pull my boat. Stock was what works for me. But your not worried about performance are hauling this look would work for your application. Nice truck its very clean.
