I’m in Alabama. I have found that Lowes does discount plants. Last Dec, things were 50 to 75 percent off. Some stores were not. Just take the time to drive to different locations. Was definitely worth it for me

I am always amazed at the difference in inventory and sales practices in your area vs my area in NC. I was in a Lowe's near me, and it was loaded with mums and pansies mostly. There were no 50% off sales. That St. John's wort at my Lowe's was full price and no hydrangeas at all.

Hopefully soon Jennifer! My guess is that they will mark them down once the weather begins to turn. It's cooled off a lot for us this week, and they are starting to receive Christmas inventory. So it looks like ot was time to clear out the garden center.
