@@PORSCHE_COUNTRY. That's what’s wrong with everything. These people can’t control their dopamine, and somehow, some way, they get these cars with a 570 credit score. I have been a lifelong Vette fanboy; I go to Vette shows and cruises all over the country, but I know damn well that these cars are well beyond my personal reach. They are for a select few in society. $100k for a Stingray, $170k for a Z06. That is more than my house! If they want to have the YOLO attitude, go for it.

That’s arguably what it’s market value should be. There has been several model years and variants released now and it’s a mass market domestic car. It’s not rare at this point and should be priced accordingly. Plus we’re in a recession with sky high inflation and interest rates. I mean this is just market correction and reality and this will only continue.

Exactly. I have watched the market dramatically change recently for the reasons you cite, and used C8s (except the Z06) priced above their original MSRP are sitting and undergoing repeated price reductions. Yes, there are some nice used C8s at Corvette World, but I see nice ones everywhere on Cargurus and Autotrader, with very nice used ones below MSRP. I just picked up a 6K mile 2023 2LT convertible with every option including the special luggage at $11K below its $100+K MSRP. Yes, I think I got a steal of a deal, but there are many more deals out there and more coming every day as the reality of the current used car market erodes the asking prices further.

Would love a C6 but all the hype about failures in the Z06......and that Anniv Edition at opening of video is stunning.... My C5 Z06 was relatively trouble free after I changed out the valve springs....updated air intake, brakes, etc...and put a Double DIN radio inside. So while I really love C6 variants....will likely be C7 GS.

​@@redstingraycorvette flippers already sold them and most dealerships raised their prices because of being sports car season and with a long wait to buy from the factory some have to wait over 14 months to buy these cars at msrp so they lose 2 driving seasons. If someone can find a used one with under 5k miles on it and not much of a mark up its not that bad. And people who buy them to enjoy them why would they be upset being stuck with a car they love? Life is short you never know what tomorrow may bring. People who buy these cars most can well afford them even with a little mark up. C7 prices are high a regular sting ray 2018 with 38k miles is 51k by me so if people think these cars will be cheap anytime soon is foolish. You might find some with 10k-20k miles for a cheaper price but don't forget the cost of maintenance like transmission fluid change which is not cheap, brakes and tires with miles over 10k and over you'll probably need new tires soon. So a little mark up won't hurt most people that find one they look for with specs they want with very low miles under 5k miles and a few thousand mark up is no big deal. Bad economy hurts people with less Money. people with money get richer in a bad economy with bank cds giving high interest rates and property prices lowered cause mortgage rates are high so people with cash don't mind, people who want to buy something over their budget will hurt them. For the others they will be happy driving and getting all the attention from the beautiful car they bought.

The truth is pretty simple eddie. The z06 will be limited and with that NA engine 670 will be the last for the natural asperated and im sure you know that. The z06 will be a true collector car and the eray WILL NOT BE PERIOD. Because of being electric and tech for electric hybrids/full electiric. Very simple , but if someone doesnt care about the losing value of the eray then its a great car
