Does the MIDI information from Kontakt's 'Chord Tool' show up in the DAW's key editor so you can fine-tune/adjust the chords?

You can drag and drop the chords as MIDI file onto your DAW. Not sure if that's what you were referring to.

anyone know if you can add a fade out before the end of the cutoff where you set the "E" end of the sample in the waveform view in Leap? I know you can set leap to "hold" mode and then set a release value for a nice fade out, but that means you need to write tiny short notes in the midi grid on something like a high hat if you only want to use the first part of the sample. its not good haha. I want to be able to write a 16th or 8th note midi note and have the sample only trigger whatever I set the "S" and "E" bounds to. right now if Ido that, there is always a click becasue I cant put a fade out into the sample before the place where I set the "e" marker I hope this makes sense I hope I am just missing something Anyone have any tips to accomplish what I am looking to do?

Can any of these sample loops expansions be used as a instrument to played by a midi keyboard? like the synths and pad loobs and drum beat thats already made (loop) ..how can we use this as single insturments? is that possible?

Most of the stuff I showed in the video, except for Conflux is in the free Kontakt Player as well. Buying the full version is needed only if you're gonna be creating your own instruments or if you're gonna be using third party Kontakt libraries that don't work in Kontakt Player.

Nice. Does kontakt put an imported sample to middle c regardless of the samples key when put in chromatic mode?

Yeah, I think when you load into Leap it does that without you having to set a root note manually.

Not quite sure how this all works yet. I have komplete 14 standard. I don't want to get komplete 15 just yet, but i intend to soon. But I also don't want to upgrade to the full version of kontakt 8 if it comes with the new komplete 15 anyway. For now, are there any benefits or drawbacks to DL'ing Kontakt 8 "PLAYER" VS sticking with my full version of Kontakt 7?

Definitely don't buy it separately if you intend on getting Komplete 15, it is included. And yes, you can just get Kontakt 8 Player for free and the tools and Leap are included there, Conflux is the only one that's only included in the paid version.

You will probably have to load the presets through Komplete Kontrol to have the MK2 integrate with Kontakt 8 but it should work. Only the MK3 keyboards have direct communication with Kontakt.

I would say it's already there, but that's just a small part of the functionality. And you can still buy the packs, it's not subcription-only like Arcade.

Can you elaborate? Did something you already have stopped working and forced you to update? For example the last supported Mac OS for Kontakt 6 is Monterey which sucks but that's a Mac-only problem. Everything seems to work fine on Windows 11.
