@Clasam094 ай бұрын
nice one. you think Monark is still worth it, or go for something like the legend HZ?
@LowHeatBeats4 ай бұрын
Depends on the price you find it at. It's still a great-sounding synth. One downside is that it still runs inside Reaktor, so loading it takes a few more clicks. And it's usually bundled with most NI hardware or Komplete bundles, so that may be a better way to get it, unless you get it on a deep discount.
@Clasam094 ай бұрын
@@LowHeatBeats thx! I haven't used Realtor...what are the biggest issues with it? Other than it should have been updated years ago
@LowHeatBeats4 ай бұрын
There are no issues with Reaktor, it works fine. I was referring to the fact that it's not a separate plugin, but you have to load Reaktor (or Komplete Kontrol) first and then load Monark inside it.

I'm not sure if there's an exact alternative. You can make this sound with any subtractive virtual analog synth but you probably won't be able to follow the tutorial if it's not also a Minimoog emulation like Monark. So maybe search for that, there are so many of them. Otherwise good free synths are TyrellN6, Helm, Surrealistic MG-1 Plus, OB-XD and you can totally make this sound on any of them. You DAW's synths are also capable to make it, so maybe try them first.
