Now that I got Stetmann to level 15, it's time to figure out how good he actually is in one of the hardest tasks in the game for a Co-op Commander.
Speed Freaks: Enemy units have double their normal movement speed.
Barrier: Enemy units gain a temporary shield upon the first time they take damage.
Power Overwhelming: All enemy units have energy and use random abilities.

Very nice play! I very much appreciated the stetzone buffs to both my early income and keeping Zeratul alive. The Corruptor Fireworks are exactly what you needed to do vs air without starting a slideshow on stream. The most unfortunate thing about this is that the enemy compositions are bugged to always use Skyterran, Baneling/Scourge, and Dark Templar waves. This limits what would have been Stetmann's go-to strategy of massing Ultralisks, which are actually tanky enough to mass on this mutation, but sadly do not hit air. I recorded our replay and discussed more stuff there about this mutation. I also linked to here from there.

It seems you never rlly Played ultras. Their autocast ability drains 25 hp from any mech except ultras. It hits enemy mechs even when they fly. Super gary uses his psi orbs 1-2 times and the rest dies insanly fast to the passive. Sky terran is a breeze with ultras. So saying "ultras do not hit air" is completly wrong. The other thing is hydras are the go to strat not ultras cause they kill void thrashers/shards with 2-3 volleys. They take down shuttles/"flying" boni nearly instantly. Even on malwarfare the towers are considered an "air" unit. So with stetmann you dont go Hydra or ultra depending on the enemy, it depends on the map and their objectives both kill ground and air waves easily with supergary and stetzones. But while you can use hydras on all maps, ultras are limited in their usefulness on alot of maps.

It's funny that even after leveling Stetmann to 15, Lowko still has no idea what the overcharged stetellites actually do. Overcharging the green HUGS zone doesn't make the heal any faster, it just causes the stetellites to spam that green shield on nearby units. Overcharging the FAST field gives nearby units an attack speed buff, which seems amazing! The only one that actually works the way he thinks it does is the purple JUICE field.

@Lowko you dont Need 3 drones in your gas if you have movespeed on. 14 on mins and 2 in each gas is enough to saturate your main. on top its best to get fast Expansion. so build is: 2 drones->pool->Overlord->drone->7 lings->drone (to Expansion)->double gas + 1-2 drone/s-> hatcherie it depends on the distance to the Expansion Location if you can build 1 or 2 drones before the hatch cause your lings Need more time to reach it and therefor clean it. stetmann is so insane even in mutations. you can basically ignore everything and outheal any enemy even when you only spam hydras. i played this Mutation and the mutation we get in the following week with him and hes a beast. on temple it seems the Transmutation doesnt work when enemies attack the stetalites. i even facetanked a big attackwave with hybrids thx to the hp reg and lost 1 Hydra. no lings/Ultras or other stuff to soak the dmg just pure hydras. its so insane. as Long as we have the nice attack wave bug that we can only get shadowtech toss, sky terran and swarm zerg. go mass Ultra on oblivion express against a sky terran. its so funny when super garry + Ultras wreck sky terran within seconds^^ PS: the stun from Ultras can stun the wagons from Trains. not the whole Train but only the wagons that got hit with the stun leading to the Train Splitting up. its so hilarious if you split the Train 3-4 times :)

@@CrowitzerTheHoloFan k it seems you dont understand how it works. drone-drone 14/14-pool 13/14-Overlord-drone 14/14-7lings 21/22 (to exe)-drone 22/22 (to exe)- double gas 20/22-drone 21/22-overlord Right now you build 2 gases and got 13 on mins so you Need 5 more drones to saturate your main. after you made These 5 you build even more drones but you send em all to your exe. the 2 drones reaching your exe first get the gases rest on the mins. as soon as the gases finish saturate them with 2*2 drones. you continue sending drones. the exe is saturated at 10 drones on the mins. we dont stop producing drones, we just hit the Point where the movespeed allowed us to saturate 2 bases with only 32 drones instead of 48. this is a huge economy boost, while getting the main to 21 mins and 3 in each gas and delaying the Expansion for that is a flat 0 boost in economy. thats why i only want 14/2/2 in the main since getting 21 on mins and 3 in each gas will net us no gain for the Moment, having an exe with speedboost does. so after saturating both bases with a total of 32 drones, getting 2 more hatcheries and while teching up, we get the rest of the drones. as soon as we then hit 21/3/3 in the main and 15/3/3 in the exe we can freely swap between all 3 stetzone boosts, but before that we want the speedboost up at all times (there is no reason why you should need the other 2 that early). in the meantime we have the 14 lings and gary carry the early game while we get the rest going. btw if you build 2^x lings you get (2^x+1)-1 lings out in total. so if you build 8*2 lings and all die you revive 4, from there 2 revive, from there 1 so a total of 15. with 14 lings you still get 7+3+2+1 so a total of 13. i guess thats plenty in the early game.

Mass Infestor is beyond OP. You get Stukov levels of lag if you sit under the pink lights and spam roaches. That, and you can make static-d anywhere. Edit: just saw a previous comment. ditto. Dropping frames.

The thing with dealing damage with stetman, is that for every army you can think of, another commander does it better. Hydras? Kerrigan. Lings and banelings? Zagara. Infestors? Stukov (basically mass producing expendable expiring units in ridiculous amounts, but Stukov has it easier and they are more powerfull, while also shooting air). The air army for Stet seems the more unique, yet commanders like fenix are still better there. But he makes a great support for the team. I think protoss benefit the most as their units doesn't heal or repair on their own, so the green heal zone is incredible for keeping the protoss deathball healthy. Edit: thinking about it, stukov is a great pair too, making his infested super fast, they will be in the fight the moment they are out, so the time limit is much less important

Wouldn't a few points in the Statelite cooldown really help considering they're a big part of the char? Even if you can fill up your map, the extra cooldown means you can stack more, meaning more overcharge, meaning even more stuff?

have been playing statman for a while now, and i didnt find anything more effective than having 8-12 infestors just spamming roach/raveger at first it seems like they just make a silly cannon foder but they actually can clear out quite a bit of slow/standing air

Lowko still doesn't seem to understand the overcharge ability. Overcharge hugs doesn't heal faster, it gives things a damage blocking shield for a while. You also don't need to overcharge a second one; the overcharge stays when you switch modes, and will start giving that buff instead.

I have an Abathar build were I use very little gas basically, I mass Roaches and use gas mainly for upgrades and then I throw in a few Queens and use the Queens and those Abominations can't remember what they are called for anti-air allows me to basically sit on 2 Vespene geysers and letting my Co-op Commander have my Expo Gas Would be very interesting to try with Stetman also, Abathar has an ability to heal all units I wonder how OP that is in COmbo with Stetmans healing power Fields

Try playing mass infestor. You can have over 400 roaches and 100 ravagers on the map if you keep spawning them. Stetmann is the new Stukov with these.

As I see it; Stetmann, is a Support Commander. His role is to cover where the other commander is weak. So he doesn't stand on his own, but with a ally, he stands as the parts they need. So he is never weak, nor strong. But he makes others even stronger because of it.

He isn't infested, he is just got addicted to Terrazine, like Tosh's Spectre. After Wings of Liberty, he got stranded on a planet named Bel'shir because everyone forgot about him when the last ship left the planet. So for years he holed up in the planet alone snorting Terrazine gas and doing research to keep himself sane, mecha zerg is the result of his descent into madness.
