I am glad and surprised he explains how certain units and strategies work. It's quite a contrast when he makes commentary of non professional players. Then he mocks them brutally and mercilessly :D As if he presumed they must know everything and that they should have at least 200 apm.

lowkow is a better announcer than the ones working for the companies. all announcers all have the same way of announcing. only real difference is the voice or volume. but they all sound the same. its dull boring and ruins the games enjoyment.

Fun fact: the AA missile doesn’t just remove armour, it actually inflicts a -3 armour modifier on the enemy, meaning the enemy could have no armour upgrades and their units will still take 3 additional points of damage per hit.

There was a game this year, I don't remember which though, where a flock of Corruptors melted by Liberator anti air attack, after taking AA missile to negative armour. Man, felt like Valkiries were back!

In fact, units will take 3 additional points of damage even if the attacker does 0 damage. Hallucinated units can actually deal damage to painted units.

Lowko I think I figured out a simple formula for time to recoup losses from pulling drones to gold minerals. Gold minerals mine for 7 instead of 5 which is 40% faster. So to make up the minerals lost from being pulled they'd have to mine for 40% x 2.5 = 100% Workers mine at an average rate of about 1 mineral per second I believe, if your base is in the right spot So if workers lost 10 seconds of mining they'd make it back up after 10 seconds x 2.5 = 25 seconds. So it makes sense to pull the workers in most cases, they make it back pretty quickly.

Dude this game was so amazing. So hyped to see nukes. I though he put like 9 down in different locations simultaneously. I was like how the hell do you catch all of them. Those Void Rays being slightly faster when he F2'd screw'd him over, super nice catch by Maru. Those Zealots doing work. Just a crazy game.

Oh. My. God. This was something else. And the AA turrets true MVP with the zoning. Protoss couldn't really push through them even when maxed. Easily added another 100 supplies to the effective Terran army

My friend always plays turtle-terran. It's actually super effective if you have a strong eco built up. Then you can transition towards ghost or battlecruisers and basically make a deathball as terran.

Paired with excessive oc if you have the bank and you can almost instantly replace any lost expos. It's a great strat and Maru is having a ton of success with it.

Not sure why nobody ever uses their Liberator during air combat, that huge clump of carriers, interceptors and void rays would fall in matter of seconds from the AoE damage with the amount of liberators Maru had. Sure the stalker will kill bunch of liberators, but not before they already demolished most of the skytoss.
