Other players want to play Zerg like Serral and Reynor with perfect macro and incredible speed and awareness. I want to play Zerg like a Gold Protoss who thinks he's smart because he sneaked in a probe to put a pylon in the corner of the enemy's main. I want to play Zerg like Bly.

Sadly the game is mostly about real time play and moments of strategic play. I have a friend that won't even 1v1 me unless I play the game at normal game speed. I do admit game is less stressing on normal speed. But I'm just so used to fastest game speed from ladder.

Lowko, you do realize ravagers weren't added to the game until LOTV right? That may have something to do with why Zerg couldn't proxy hatch and rush with ravagers. Without the ravager morph, the roaches would be easily kited and killed. Zerg doesn't have options when it comes to harass or anti air.

mmm a thought regarding roach ravager i think a raven would help in that sort of situation because then you have your army able to stop tunneling roaches and with the way ravagers clump up to stay out of marine and marauder range yet still bile it a perfect target for AP missile.

Does anyone else find it funny that the dragoon and science vessel are the only two units that do not actually turn at all? That is, they always show the same image on-screen. The science vessel only points it's antenna in the direction its moving.

Well bly would win 100 times of 100 matches. That how it would go. Then again why compare Florencio to a pro gamer? Sometimes it is funny to see how bly cheeses in pro games and sometimes it is funny to see how Florencio cheeses in low leagues such like platinium. Games are so different compared to each others, but still both enjoyable.

Standard: Reaper scout Meta: I can leave the scout out, for I know what Zerg will most likely do Counter meta: I know my opponent plays meta. I can punish him for it. Counter counter meta: I know my opponent will likely proxy hatch, so I must defend. Or you could just play Standard?

Maybe a beginners question, but why are those cyclones 1)so close 2) not being repaired buy the mules ???

If my understanding is correct, Lock On goes on cooldown after it kills a unit, which forces the Cyclone to use its 5-range normal attack for the next 6 attacks (if it's attacking continuously) while waiting for the cooldown to end.

It works for Byun, because marines shoot up AND down, and pros don't cheese him enough to punish him not scouting. Bly changed this today

i think there is a point to byun chosing the opening he did even if it was not good against bly build. I think that he wants to perfect his usual BO/micro/decision making enough to be able to defend this with his usual greed build. If he can manage that, obviously, he gets out way ahead. Or he could be stuborn too. But that stubornness is imo to force his build to work against a cheese. But i don't think he'd keep using it on a finals though :D also perhaps there is some mind game here : "he won't do it 3 times in a row! Ah damn it, he did!"

I don't know why bly didn't go for banelings in game 2. byun is forced to fight on creep, that's the whole point of the proxy+tumor, he could have great surrounds with ling bane on the marine only force.
