I have an HD’s 9 Carbon and I’m using the totalscan Ducer but I can’t figure out which transducer to select on the HD’s unit? Please help me! Thank you for all the info

Robert Daoud make sure yoir units are up to date, the under pages ,settings, sonar. Disable ch1, enable ch2 , then go to installation and choose total scan

So now what do you do with the waypoints on the screen? Do they go away or do they stay. If they stay then why do we export them to a file. I am just trying to understand why to export them. Also could you do a video on what the difference is between the HDS gen 3 12 and the new Carbons. I cannot find anything that explains what is new.

jbryan2 they stay on there until u delete them, so in other words if u have alot of waypoints like I do,i download each lake and sort them for the state, as in all my fl lakes i dont need on there till im there in jan. So after saving i delete them and purge them so the unit is faster.

Will this work for transferring from one unit to the next? I have a elite7 ti which isn’t networkable. I’m thinking this might be a way to share between units. Also one more question, are the elite series units able to take screen shots?

Jaime Salinas elite7ti are networkable for waypoints with nmea2k as long as both units are on.
