I see a lot of people hating on the game, and I'll just say this. Kojima did exactly what we wanted and didn't disappoint. He was ORIGINAL and took RISKS. The problem with the modern gaming industry is trying to please everyone, streamlining a formulaic experience until it's bland and boring. If you expected Death Stranding to be everyone's perfect game, be endlessly entertaining, have no flaws, and have a life changing story for everybody... then you might as well have expected it to cure cancer and create world peace. What can't be argued however, is that it's a masterpiece. Niche yes, but outstanding in what it does and unique like any art. It does exactly what it set out to do, and that's be a brand new and thought provoking experience. Not everybody likes Breath Of The Wild, nor Call Of Duty, or Metroid, or Smash Bros, or Final Fantasy. But Death Stranding is just as creative, original, stimulating, and fun as any of those for at least as many people. If you can't see that then you are just being outright close minded. Everybody knows nothing is truly perfect but this is as close as it ever gets for many of us.

This song is pure art. At the beginning of the song, it keeps a pace and rythm until 1:49, then that sound starts totally of rhythm, it's really off when it starts, but the song adapts to it, and end in a majestic way, one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. The way I understand this song is when everything is going at a good pace, some kind of hard time can hit us unexpectedly. And if we are able to adapt and "keep coming" everything will be fine. This song is about resilience, about being strong. I was going through a very hard time when I first heard this song, and was really emotional and started crying cause I felt really touched. But when the song said "wipe those tears off an make your heart proud", somehow I felt it was made for me. I never had that kind of goosebumps in my entire life, it was something I'll never forget, and made this song my life's anthem. May you find peace in your rest. Thank you for touching my life with this masterpiece. I never met you but will be forever grateful.

+Ed win what's wrong with people finding a band after a trailer?
@edwin999018 жыл бұрын
+shehan soysa nothing. I'm just saying before e3, actual fans of this band was in the comments. I'm with the e3 guys... that's one of the reasons I love gta, is because they introduce me to new music and artists

Man, that scene was one of the most impactful I’ve seen in a game. The sudden realization of the possibility of being trapped in an infinite loop left me speechless. It’s easy to say you’ll do it for humanity but getting a feel for it in his shoes while trapped there, wow.

I wish I could find more comments about the song itself ant its deep meaning. I actually found this out on the game trailer as well, but it touched me like no other song ever did at the time, when I was 15. I've been battling depression and anxiety through all my teen years and only now, at 20 yo, I can feel satisfied with myself. Last night was one of my worst nights ever but today... it's like fate itself came to me and said that my suffering had me prepared to face life and all the challenges I'm gonna face. Today fate said to me that I can keep coming even after being buried underground. I've found a new reason to carry on for, but even when I didn't have it, this song was there for me, filling me with hope that I would achieve happiness someday. thank you so much low roar for manifesting these feelings, and thank you so much kojima for receipting the message and passing it on. I'm grateful for my life.

Kojima released a new image of a character in his new upcoming game with the words, "I'LL KEEP COMING BACK" on it. This song could make a good theme for his upcoming game. Kind of like how "The Man who Sold the World" was a good fit for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
