As a student of Senecca, I completely disagree with your interpretation on how Stoicism thinks about suicide and what the ancient practitioners might think of the value of life today. I argue that the value of life has greatly diminished from the stoic point of view and therefore choosing to cut it short would not be considered lacking in virtue or wisdom.
