Just started getting into this line (I've read most of the comics) after finding the Shredder in Hell figure on clearance at Walmart. Got Alopex from BBTS and found Raph with the motorcycle for $20 on clearance at Target yesterday. I already have the SDCC stuff on order at BBTS.

I have the regular Shredder. I kind of want the Shredder in Hell version for the other head and hand parts. Though I don't think the blue on the hands is a match for the regular release?

Looks like this Donnie has a regular shell and the single release has the metal shell but yea you don’t really need 2 Donnies unless you’re a completes. In the comics you might know why his shell is like that.

​@@KAdesignz808it's just a bummer you need both to make him accurate. Metal shell with wood bo? Organic shell with the metal bo? All mixed up. BUT it's good to also know neither come with the same heads! Have both and have four head options! Plus one has tools and goggles, and the other has the grav gauntlet and different goggles!

Wow, I didn't realize this company was still making so many figures. Their 5" Lord of the Rings figures peaked my interest a few years ago and I was considering collecting those, but I'm glad I didn't. They only released 4 characters (Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, and Sauron) then seemingly abandoned the line. It's been like 4 years since the last figure. It appears that instead they went all-in on TMNT and Strawberry Shortcake figures?

Yes its very sad there weren't more LOTR figs. Not worth it to only buy 4 characters. Same thing happened with the Buffy and Destiny figs some years back with diff companies. Prob a licensing issue??

@@cbfwebs Could be a licensing issue. Perhaps they only secured the license for a year, and for whatever reason, were unable to renew after that. Or maybe the LOTR figures just didn't sell well enough for them to continue the line.

Dan, just so you know, the SDCC versions do tend to stay exclusive, but different versions make it to regular retail. The jennika and dark leo have wash, like the previous turtles did that got normal releases without it. Jennika is already confirmed so we can assume dark leo with get a washless normal release. Maybe a single telease of metalhead with no glow

I haven't had anything actually break. The plastic can be a bit gummy, so sometimes joints pop out, but they just pop right back in. No actual breakage for me yet

ive gotten several loyal subjects figures and their all piles of crap.. joints fused so they dont move unless you wanna break them ( and not even heating the joints does anything), extremely fragile parts .. id recommend staying far away from anything they make

I heard issues with their figures with loose joints and I guess softer plastic. Personally I would never buy anything from the low subjects anymore so I don't know what kind of material they're using for these figures
