This is the opening track on "Brand New Maid" which was their third mini-album, in May 2016. They sound a lot more mature here, don't they? They're rounding into shape. The last track on the album is "Alone."

Since Japan is an island, offshore wind energy is very prominent so these wind farms are normal I think. According to the Int'l Energy Agency, these wind farms can supply 8000 terrawatt-hours per year.

Aside from a little temperature problem on the wind-swept beach (look-up the stills of them in their Artic-level "Please don't let me freeze to death" suits that they had to wear between takes) and Akane's dress catching on fire, it was a pretty uneventful video shoot. "Non-Fiction Days" -- it's one helluva song, isn't it? If you can find them, look at the old "lives" for this song -- it'll be worth your time!

The first track and one of my favs off of their album "Brand New MAID". 😎🤘 I think it often is construed as a joke sometimes when people say they don't have a bad song but there really is not (in my opinion) a bad BAND-MAID song!

I agree that they don't have a "bad" song, but they certainly have some songs that are not really for me or that I really don't like too much. But all their songs are well crafted without a doubt.

[Repeat rant] I mean, just listen to this song! When are music lovers and the industry going to wise up to what's happening in the rock scene - BG, Maidiacs, Band-Maid fans and present viewers excepted, of course. The Non Fiction Days has been out since May, 2016! Are the Maids not enough of a shiny object for people. Are they not good enough musicians, or writers, or pretty enough? I've been harping about this for years and just don't get why they only have 470K YT subs after 9 years with more than 120 incredible songs and over 400 live concert performances. Sorry, but I can only take so much apathy towards excellence. Again, present company excepted. ;-) Thx BG, for bringing the Band-Maid experience to your viewers!

@@TomClark-Futoura I hear you Tom, the impression I get from these many thousands of miles away is that the BM management team may have underestimated how much the fan base and support has grown over the last couple of years and might not have pushed the media buttons as hard as they should have. There is an official live video version out there somewhere of The Non Fiction Days that is literally on fire, lol. It sounds exactly like the studio version. I've been trying to track it down with no luck so far. And another song you should react to is Looking Up To You, by Li-Sa-X band, with Li-Sa-X, another fantastic young Japanese guitarist at 17 years old and Hazuki from Nemophila and a tremendous young vocalist named Rina. It will knock your socks off.

I'm in for another 12 Band-Maid songs, sure! There are plenty more bangers out there as you go through their catalog. I'm a bit disappointed this one only got a 9.4 because it's one of my favs but it's still great that you at least played it along with my other favs Freezer, Arcadia Girl, and Real Existence.
