Hello I was wondering if I could get a feedback on where did you purchase your new engine?

I want to know how the LR2 is doing today? I have a 2009 and already feel like a master technician after replacing, what feels like, most everything.

I was going to say to you great job and there is a reason why the $1200 dollars you would pay to change it is laughable to a shop. There are expenses that need to be covered and shops are in it to make money. This is not a money making job. It is time consuming work that needs to be done correctly or they will be doing it again for free. What if it starts up and makes a noise that was in the engine to begin with or a noise caused by the installation. Are you prepared to spend extra money because of that. Or they would have to use their time to figure it all out. It’s just not worth it to cheaply do major work unless it’s your own vehicle. It’s easier to do brake jobs and small repair jobs to make money. This is coming from an ASE L1 adv level master tech who also has a 2008 lr2.
