Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3), which connects the Johan Setia LRT station in Klang to the Bandar Utama station in Sungai Buloh, is expected to begin operations by March 1, 2025.

LGE really fucked this project up, never compromise in public infrastructure. 44 sets of 6 cars down to 20 something sets of 3 cars. The reason why it was a 6 car train was so that it can learn from KJL’s failures and to optimise frequency and capacity. At the beginning everything will be smooth, but sooner or later there will be various complications in regards to frequency and capacity

Please go check the Rapid bus services 1. Bus drivers cepat keluar dari mrt terminal cepat balik ke terminal tanpa passengers 2. Tak suka slow down dekat bas stop 3. Marah sangat kalau orang slow nak masuk 4. Slow tunjok mycard 5. Tak senyum 6. Bila panggil dia datuk dan terima kasih driver happy je

Sudahlah scaled down, delayed pulak. Mohon kerajaan hari ini jgn scaled down projek MRT circle line. Yg complaint pasal kenapa tak dimajukan negeri2 lain, FYI, 1/3 penduduk Malaysia bertumpu ke KL termasuklah anak2 yg berasal dari negeri2 lain. Kalau nak dibangunkan MRT atau LRT di bandar2 lain, pastikan dulu jumlah pengguna yg bakal menggunakannya sebab kita tak mahu jadi seperti LRT Palembang.

mcm kat jepun la banyak je rumah2 free dan besar kat pinggir2 bandar..tapi kenapa orang muda sana sanggup duduk dlm tiny house kat tokyo..sebab peluang kerja dan kemudahan lain.

Scaling down the LRT cars trains from 42 sets of 6 car trains to 22 set of 3 car train is a dumb idea. People will packed like sardines and the frequency of each trains will be longer which defeats the purpose of a light RAPID transit.

Reducing the station nos. is fine but reducing to 3 cars train?? & only 22 train sets?? Bangang apa KL-PJ-Klang area dah la 24 jam busy

Tapi memberi kontrak kepada kronix2 beliau dengan kos yg begitu tinggi. Kalau tidak tukar kerajaan PH dulu...tentunya LRT 3 sudah siap pada kos yg lebih rendah.

@@thinkerr zaman bossku train set 6 gerabak lebih 22 stesen. Zaman PH 1.0 Cut jadi 3 gerabak cut stesen jugak… klang shah alam kawasan padat..nak kurangkan traffic congestion federal NKVE & KTM Comuter.

satu dekat, this means this is a failed project even if it will be finished few years it is due in about 5 years. The capacity of 2 million people with 22 set or 3 car train. How many frequencies will it be when it will start at peak and normal hours? 6-15 minutes didn't last KTM before KVDT is 20 min? 16 billion for 37km is a mess up price WCE is 233km but cost half of it. EDPT Gemas JB 300km just about 10 billion. This is a whole messed up corrupted and idiot project that giving less impact on people but just the T20 companies to fuel up GDP.

Focus on THIS LRT go quietly take the "free service and Mrt bus shuttle services" from station to station see 1. The attitude of the drivers 2. Smoking eating in the drivers seat 3. Hanging used jacket at the senior citizen seat 4. Keep the broom stick under the seat 5. No smile "ADA IC!" He yelled "masuk! He yell" cepat! He yell! 6. Driving so fast pass the busstop before you can raise your hand to flag down the bus.. Drive off from the terminal suddenly 7. Can you go quietly go check acting as a passenger without body guards for a week. No one OK!!?

Construction for an entire viaduct-based line (& a pair of tunnels near Stadium Shah Alam) has always been more expensive. Both WCE & Gemas-JB EDTP were neither of these. They are mostly on ground level. If you already doubt a 16 billion, 37km LRT line, then how about the 30 billion, 57km MRT (Putrajaya) line?

@@nick_1551 Same I never understand why it must be 50 billion for MRT3 only a few billion less than ECRL and HSR. That's why I hate to support MRT3 because it is just there to feed T20 companies. 350Km HSR cost only 68billion and ECRL 74Billion for 665km . Imagine how many roads or schools or hospitals can be built for that price tag.

@@MrGergasikuat precisely because they are all mostly on viaducts, & especially in ECRL's case, lots of tunnels. Another case in point: the JB-Singapore RTS. And mind you, SG is paying 61% of that RM10 billion cost as the station (Woodlands North) is underground.
