I enjoyed watching you work through the various steps. I'm currently working on a similar project and will be installing the Holley system in my 70 Nova with an LS2 and 4L60E. Thank you for sharing your experiences and taking the time to video the work that you've done.

Unfortunately wiring is a big part of what we do to our cars, I don't mind it but as you know it has to be thought out. I have made drawings on all the stuff I have added or going to add so as i pass the car along to my son at some point he has all the info on the upgrades. Well done one again Billy!!!

Drawings is a good idea. Funny I do cad drawings all day at work and want no part of it when I’m home 😂 Hopefully my videos will help my boys see what was done. That was my whole reasoning for starting the channel... they don’t want to listen now but maybe they will later haha

@@BillyFargon I do hydraulic drawings all day long for systems I design for the mines.....I get it. And I started the channel for about the same thing also, but also to help others when I could not find things on the Web. Keep up the great work....!!!

Thanks George, it’s slow going but at least it’s progress! We are having great weather now so it’s definitely motivating to work out in the garage!

I have a factory GM Connect and Cruise ECU for my LSA/4l85e and I had to get the Dakota Digital box to see my shift position. GM also took out the fan control from the C&C ECU. Nice find on the fan controller from the Volvo.

That sounds like an awesome setup! I can’t take credit for the Volvo relay only the forum reading :)

Nice build, just came across your video. What headers did you use for this build. How much hammer adjustments did you have to make for the headers and where. Thanks in advance

I used Holley hooker blackheart swap headers but I don’t think they make them anymore :(

I used a similar grommet when feeding the dominator harnesses. My car has the factory console so I put the hole where the firewall meets the trans tunnel. Looks good but it is a pain to add or change things easily.
@BillyFargon3 жыл бұрын
Probably nice and hidden though! I love those factory consoles

What Volvo...(Yr/Model) did you get that relay setup from? I have a standalone DD fan setup and have it set to run my high speed setup of my single Cooling components fan. And I have a few O2 sensor bung covers if you need one. I have bought several bungs over the yrs and have extra screw on caps for the bungs.
@BillyFargon3 жыл бұрын
If you go on eBay and search “Volvo 2 speed fan relay” a bunch of them will pop up. Found out about them on the ls1 forums. Let me check my tool box for a bung plug cause I started thinking I don’t really want to leave the o2 in there and have it going bad from not running. If I can’t find one I will hit you up on that offer!

Bill, did you give up on the turbo? Hoping to see the Hooker manifold sitting between the rails.
@BillyFargon3 жыл бұрын
Heck no I didn’t give up! Everything being done now is prep for that goal. Trans, wiring, engine... just want to make sure it will all hold up before I get there :)
