Women are great mechanics. They take the time to think things through !! I've been a mechanic for 40 years. I've trained many people to wrench and woman listen and I think it's great. My beautiful wife is mechanically inclined and she has taught me a thing or two. YOU GO GIRL !!!!!

Yeah. During WWII, women built all the tanks and aircraft to help the war effort. Very unappreciated by most.

@@oby-1607 My Grandma was one of those women. In "saving private ryan", tom hanks mentions fighting at the kesserine pass in north Africa. That's where my grandpa fought and was captured by germans. He spent 2 1/2 years in a nazi prison camp. Russians took over. My grandpa waited till they got drunk then escaped. Wandered for 3 days before being found by allies. Died in 2015 at 94.

I have three Daughters. And I have taught them the basics on car repair since I'm a master Technician/Mechanic. I would love to see more and more young ladies get involved with American Muscle Cars. My older Daughter who's now 22 helped me build a bad ass Mustang and she completely loved getting her hands dirty. I applaud you on getting your hands dirty and getting the job done not only perfect but bad ass...keep up the great work.

It's relatively easy to remove/install the springs on the hood hinges. With the spring removed, the hinge collapses flat and isn't constantly in your way. All you need is a Double Box End wrench (~3/4") and a good sized screwdriver (I usually use a #4 Phillips ). Insert the screwdriver through one end of the wrench, forming a "T" handle. Hook the opposite end of the wrench over the end of the hinge spring. Now you can grasp the screwdriver on both sides of the wrench and easily pull the spring off its mount. To install the spring, raise the hinge, hook one end of the spring onto the hinge base, and using your Frankenstein wrench/screwdriver combo tool, pull the spring onto its mount. If you don't quite have the strength to do this easily, there's another tool that does the job for you... Your "assistant"! Lol

Biggest problem I've ever had with the chevy rears is the c clip axle retainers. When they break, the whole wheel and axle try to escape out the sides of the car. There is a kit to eliminate the c clips, but then the axles twist. Great project folks.

A quiet exhaust with electronic cut-outs. I keep it quiet right up to the timing tree, then I open it. It's won a bunch of races.

One of the biggest misconceptions about the '62 thru '72 Chevy IIs is that they all were Novas, but they were'nt. The Nova was the top of the line model Chevy II of those years. As such all Novas 6 cyl or not were 5 lug.I bought a '65 Chevy II Nova 230 6cyl powerglide in 1970 that had been purchased by my 5th grade school teacher new, that was 5 lug. That is the stock Chevy 10 bolt rear end

I really like sleepers like this. It's light, so it has good power to weight, and being a wagon, the weight distribution is good, so it should hook up better than most cars its size. Who would suspect that it's such a beast? When he tears the rear end up, which won't take long if it's the original, he can put a better one in, and set it up for traction. Oh, and disc brakes would be a really good idea. Being able to stop is always good.

Points ignition system has two 12v sources, one for crank and one for run. You need to jumper, connect both, or find a 12v switched source that's hot during run and start. That way the ignition is hot when it needs to be all the time. I ran into this with my 68 GTO when I converted to HEI from points.

Excellent vid. This channel will be up to 100k subscribers in no time. I understand the people asking about supporting mods, but one thing that I've learned in my limited experience is that things don't break as much when you're not hooking. I always as a rule of thumb, check to make sure the torque converter is full of transmission fluid because I have trust issues with parts not coming properly set up. Not saying you didn't do that. I also clean all connectors no matter how new they are and if it has a shift linkage cable, I check to make sure it is to spec and referring to the manual for specs if need be, just because I like to illuminate everything that I can as fair as possible issues popping up and making it easier and faster to diagnose a problem and having notes written down to refer to on what all I did as a anti issue protocol as to help me pin point what is most likely causing an issue if one ever occurs. Again not saying Emily didn't do that. I'm just particular about how I go about building cars.
