This answered my exact questions. The harnesses from 80-300 all look the same and wasn't sure if it was worth spending more.

Rust hoarder garage has a video on how to repin these harnesses to work like a vortec..I followed his steps on what to do with the white tac wire from pin 10 red connector and it fixed my buzzing/killing battery issue. Before I was getting 5v at alt plug with key OFF. After doing that I get no volts with key off, no buzzing, no issues. My harness was 80 on amazon.

@robertbrown8651 it's the one where his husky is laying and has his front paws crossed. And in the video picture it says ls harness review and fuse info and something else. It's a pretty long video but super detailed. I had 2 issues with mine and it was fixed following his video

Thanks for the video. I had the same issue. Rather than cutting the wire I pulled the engine speed sensor wire (pin 10 red connector ) out of the harness.

That is why I'm using the factory harness out of my donor vehicle.

same. and I have the option to run the headlights/brake lights, horn, cruise control, and whatever stock circuits I want.

Everyone orders them from Alibaba strait from China and then mark the price way up. I see 1 that when you got a few pages in, it said if you have problems call PSI. Lol. Wow!!!!
