Eaton bussmann RTMR and/or RFRM fuse/relay blocks (or something similar) are the only way to wire a car short of a full blown PDM. Having a single spot for relays and fuses rather 20 loose relays and 135 inline fuses is incredible. Too bad that the only thing better is 10x the price lol

Wired my own acc harness while in the car before I knew what all I needed. 4 mo later about 78.9% complete 😂.

Great advice Joe. I tend to take too long on most of my projects and still end up not liking how I did certain things just because of learning new techniques or products that came out after I am done with a certain part of the build. Working on my first turbo car right now :)

My mustang just got painted about a year ago and now I'm looking at all the imperfections. Smh. Over the winter I'm gonna get paint corrected and ceramic coated. I hope that will fix my issues😊

I completely agree that Holley needs a piece of software to do the dash layouts for their dashes on an external computer. Would make it much easier.

Hey Joe, did you know about or consider the CPE (Chavis Performance) module he has to integrate the Holley into it instead of an E38 ecu? It uses/retains all the body,hvac,dash,abs etc over canbus to make it "plug n play" instead of wiring everything separate and possibly loosing stock functions or having to use a holley dash.

I feel your pain - I do alot of harnesses and planning is key - when I doi harnesses for people they always have add ons before we are done - thats a headache ... what PDM do you recommend?? I have used the Motec 30 - not my favorite ...

The gear ratios suck. The trans is geared for 3K rpm at 72mph. The gears are pressed onto the shaft.. you’ll soon find out how crappy that stock trans is. I would have recommended the 996Turbo 6sp. Bolts right in and had taller stock ratios. The adapter and clutch are actually cheaper because the 996TT trans is the generic VW 4 bolt pattern.

Power distribution module. Basically like another ecu for all of the power to everything. No more fuses or relays or anything like that

Awesome! Possibly the best video you've done yet. Thank you for letting us learn from your project. Do you have a recommended sensor list? I am a bit of a data hog anyway and you mentioned pre-wiring as many sensors prior to installation to have a beautiful wiring setup.
