In that particular instance, wasn't Oust LSV's only answer to Worldspine in his entire deck? And the longer the game goes on, the more likely LSV draws Time Walk and pulls way ahead... So in that case it's really just turning the game from "How long until you draw Time Walk?" to "Can you answer Worldspine?" I get the impression that for Show & Tell to work out, you really want to be dropping something better than Worldspine, though. If you're not winning the game on the spot, it seems like too risky a play. Is there any card in Cube right now that's good enough to consider Showing & Telling for it?

@@blackdog9698919 Yeah, LSV used to have SnT as stone cold unplayable some years ago iirc, but given that it is still in these cubes I believe cards like Atraxa and Archon of Cruelty gave it a big boost to playability.

Great draft. I would love to see Dance of the dead in more cube lists. It's the animate dead which revives a creature from any graveyard tapped. Hope this message gets noticed and I can finally see reanimator get a sweet upgrade :)

He drafted a deck with that combo quite a while ago so he knows the power of it. We know LSV doesn't like displaced kitten but it seems pretty unreasonable to pass it when you know Tamiyo is almost guaranteed to wheel

@@piercearora7681 I don't think its necessarily the optimal choice. Your winning such a high percentage of the games you draw time walk + Tamiyo, I don't think kitten adds that much win rate, and he does not have many more combos for it other than that.

Think it was better to Brainstorm with Jace and look for Time Walk instead of bouncing the Emp of Bones and taking the initiative. The situation just looked so bad that finding Time Walk felt like the only realistic hope. Man those games vs Mack were rough haha. Absolutely brutal FOW and Dress Down.

Oust is a card like fire covenant that's extremely good, but was massively underrated a few years ago. Remember when people were debating rakdos return vs terminate for RB in cube, and fire covenant wasn't even a consideration

Wish that stormcould be mad a viable strategy in the cube again. So many high impact creatures, would love to see more classic vintage builds like outcome, storm, reanimator buffed a bit. mono aggro vs good stuff tempo is kinda all there is anymore seems like.

Surprised you ended up picking (and running) the Kavu. Is that card good enough to play a fifth color on its own when you were already commenting on wanting more fixing? I think I would've preferred the chariot or something and then just play Bant splashing the two black cards. I guess Dack and iteration are nice while you're looking to assemble your combos so at that point might as well just run the kavu?

I think you underrate UOT plus library combo. It nearly doubles your chance of a library opening hand, which is pretty strong

If you do not consider at all the drafting portion of a, well, draft, then perhaps you are right. It’s not too crazy to think that a card that you can put in literally any deck and it’s never a liability and lets you draft the strongest cards you see regardless of color. I don’t think you can say “no shot”

@@giancarlocafaro6734 if you take timewalk as a p1p1 its impossible to not find ways to at least splash it. And tbh its more likely that you can create a proper timewalk deck because the time walk support cards are not particularly high picks for people who don't have timewalk. The ceiling of time walk is just so astronomically high that I don't believe gleemox really has a strong case for being better on a p1p1. (Personally i'd even say that black lotus is better that gleemox on a p1p1, but that's definitely a lot more debatable imo)
