Those new wheels look great! I bought the exact same shocks and springs for my 1998 Firebird, but im afraid it will make the car sit too high compared to my 24 year old springs. Glad you see another Firebird video.

Thanks! I would say they would definitely raise your car some, but it will also handle much better. I've also read of people cutting a full coil off to maintain the ride quality, but get a lower stance.

Nice car! If you haven't added the IROC wander/wonder bar then you should. It makes the car feel like a go-kart and prevents the potential for the steering box to crack the subframe.

Thanks! I did put one on shortly after this video, easily one of the best mods for the dollar on these cars! Between the moog front springs and the wonder bar, this thing almost has no body roll and steering response is great. I love it.

I'm ordering everything you used in your video for my 89 bird. I'm getting different springs to hopefully sit a little lower. The sway bar end links part number is for the front? That end links did you use for the rear? Thanks

How much do the new wheels stick out compared to the old ones? I am thinking of getting some for my GTA but i have a 4th gen axle on mine.

They seem to be about the same. 4th gen rear axle is what, 2" wider on each side?

sweet man I have a 87 gta I need to upgrade all my suspension aswell!! Do you think the GTA Ws6 has different suspension? I've got the exact car but the T top model! 350 engine.

Hey there! Sorry I missed this comment.. the ws6 had thicker front sway bars for sure. I forget what else off-hand. I would definitely look into thicker sway bars and the upgraded Moog springs if you're looking for a little bit of enhanced handling.

Nice. Too bad they don't make the monroe formula gp shocks anymore. Have an 89' Gta like you wanted to put those on my rears.

I'm not familiar with those, I'm pretty happy with the Gas-A-Just shocks, they seem to be a mild improvement over stock.

Thank you! Hawks provides a 1/4" spacer for the fronts, so they don't rub.

Your GTA is either not an authentic GTA or it has been re-badged. If it was re-badged, whoever did it put them back on wrong. Both front fender GTA badges are way off from their factory location and the front nose badge appears to be just a little bit too low. The sail panel birds look like they're close to the correct location but maybe just a hair too high. Regardless of the front badge and sail panel badges, the fender badges are 100% are in the wrong spot for authenticity.

Car has been repainted, front fender badges are not far off, just a little close to the the doors. I do believe the nose badge is correct, sail panel birds are also a little close to the doors. They haven't bothered me enough to move them. Car is otherwise an authentic gta, rpo and vin confirmed.
