I’m impressed. That’s a huge job. I do almost everything on all our cars but I don’t think I’d tackle that project.

Do you have to remove the injectors or can they stay in the head

You dont have to remove the injectors, can keep them with the head. I replaced mine, for peace of mind, and had 1 faulty(leaking) injector.

@@SamberStyle thank you for the response, I’ve replaced direct injection injectors before on other models and they were always a nightmare haha especially the ford eco boost 3.5 in the transit ..

@@roberts6107 the 5.3 injectors arent bad to replace. Really tricky to get them out, so i just replaced the whole rail. I had to take them out, took the head to engineering, new valves,seals and also upgraded valve springs to match the cam.

Chevys are reliable you just have to rebuild the engine every 100k. This company is trash. You couldn’t give me a gm product for free.
