2001 Kenny Albert on the call. When this game ends, he sends the audience to STL-PHI being called by Pat Summeral & John Madden. Rams came back from down 2TDs to win 20-17 in OT. The two teams would play in the NFC Championship 2024 Kenny Albert is still with Fox. He’s one of the few remaining that was with Fox on Day 1 of their NFL coverage in 1994. He is the lead NHL broadcaster for TNT & just wrapped up calling TOR’s Game 6 win over BOS. May 2 is significant because on that day in 1967 the Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup. It is their most recent title

Funny stat: In 2000 when Flutie played, the Bills were 4-1, but when Johnson played they were 4-7. And Flutie's last ever game for Buffalo was a perfect passer game, so it really shows how good he could do and still not get what he deserved. If only Ralph Wilson just listened to logic and not the check he payed to Johnson to be a backup...

[NAME REDACTED] 2001 season Off-season: Hire Marty Schottenheimer. Throw money at everything that moves, a staple of the Dan Snyder error Draft 1st Round Pick: Rod Gardner Notable picks: Fred Smoot (Rd 2), Sage Rosenfels (Rd 4) Deion Sanders doesn’t want to play anymore. He is officially on the retired list in late 2002 Start 0-5 including losing a MNF Tank Bowl at DAL. File under “Greatest Game” Jeff George cut because - what a shocker - he is a team cancer Win next 5 to get back in contention Lose 3/4 Win final 2, finish 8-8 Dan Snyder: I’m not a fan of Marty Ball. (heads down to Florida with a dump truck of money & parks it in front of Steve Spurrier’s house) Because hiring college coaches leads to success in the NFL Don’t feel too bad for Marty. The following season he is on the sidelines for the Chargers
