Your attention to proper wiring and it's importance is something you should be very proud of.. not too many wrenchers understand this !!

Thanks. the more I do it the more my wiring skills improve. I have more to learn. I used to wire like the worst of them back in the day.

Wiring definitely looks cleaner. I’m sure this Corvette owner will appreciate your wire labels - I just came across some of your labels today and they were a life saver. Also, good catch on the non-vented opti. Owner sticking with opti or going 24x/TH?

for now, sticking with opti. It seems to run well for the short distance I've driven it. He really just wants it to have reliable wiring and the radiator and cooling to work well. I'm hoping a TH set up later. Also needs the heater to be plumbed but that is also a job for next time.

Karl I have a question I have a terrible misfire, after replacing fuel pump with a better one misfire is still there. I noticed the vacuum line to the opti was hanging freely for a couple days before I noticed it and fixed it then the problems came on. Do you think it’s the opti?
@EllweinEngines6 ай бұрын
I do think it is most likely the Opti. once they start misfiring they get worse and worse.

hey karl i was wondering if you had a preference for lifters in high performance applications
@EllweinEngines6 ай бұрын
Definitely. Any lifter from Johnson. The Johnson 2110R is best but of course it will be a noisy valvetrain.
