You'll love the LTCC, the high/low sensor in the back rarely fails (though I have had one fail one me) even with it bad the car ran fine unless I got on it, then it would pop and act like it died then come back, then it would do it again if I kept my foot on the floor, but ran just fine with it bad just cruising around. The big problem is the build up on the cap and rotor, the design makes it get that build up so fast they fail and who wants to pay hundreds of dollars and remove the whole front of the engine every time the cap and rotor fail. Not me, I love my LTCC, was the best investment in the car I have made so far. Way better throttle response than the opti and if a coil goes out, takes seconds to find the bad coil and about $50 for a new coil and a few seconds to change.

overall its a good setup but you are so correct about the distributor depending how you drive and how you get on it for build up for someone thats tired of dealing with the distributor at full blown this is pretty good using half of the distributor the way you said it I couldn't say it no better

+Jameel Spradley The back sensor very rarely goes out, yet i have had one go out on me, it is very unlikely. This system is hands down way better than what GM came up with back then and rivals what the LS has. Shit with the LT1 Opti if you spray wash your motor you are fucked, or even run through a huge mud puddle. The LT1 is a beast, the OPTI is fucked!

I need the information on the LTCC Kit I need one.

I got mine from Lingenfelter.com But now all the LT guys are running LS computers with the 24X conversion kit. Which eliminates the OPTI all together. My LTCC still works fine. I still haven't hooked up the yellow wire yet because I'm waiting so I can Dyno tune it.
