@@LTWCarpentry I’m a manager at a hatchery mate complete change from joinery as I was struggling to find work being self employed and the bills needed to still be paid that was 13 years ago. Still do the odd bit now for family and friends.

Brilliant video. Very well explained for a task that can often be confusing; and costly! A lot of door-hanging tutorials cover the basics in a perfectly aligned liner. In 30 years I don't think I've ever found one. Thanks for taking the time.

Pair. Great video as always. How do you go about dealing with the twisted frame without either taking it out or adjusting it. Do you just pull either top hinge out or in etc to adjust the opposite corner? Obviously there will be a gap on the inside of the adjusted hinge then?

That’s exactly that mate, you have to pull the opposite hinge out from the problem, yes you have a gap down the back of the hinge but you can fill this if it’s a painted finish. This isn’t the ideal situation but in most cases a customer would rather this then adjusting the frame it’s self

If I have winding issues I some times drill a hole in the skirting so I can get to the sloe plate and pit a 3 inch nail on the angle though the stud work and move the stud work back in to alignment doesn't always work though

Some of the door linings I work with at work in council homes the door heads can be 20mm down to 0mm 😂 luckily we only fit ply flush doors as the panelled doors would look terrible otherwise 😂
