Great videos - if you don't have access to a power sander and there's a sizable chip in the blade how do you remove the chip? Thanks for your help. Bob

This is how I fix BIG chips at the shop, just replace a belt sanding machine with as big of a sharpening stone as you have. Run the whole edge on the stone like you were trying to slice through it. You have to get the whole edge down to the height of the chip. Then, resharpen as normal. It'll take longer because you'll be starting as if it was a new, never sharpened knife. It depends on the knife but, this could take awhile. OR, send it into the shop and I can fix it up here. What's the knife and what's the grind? Scooter.

How to sharpen LT Wright scandi with microbevel? Like standard flat grind (also with microbevel)? With true scandi is simple. But with scandi with microbevel sharpening by hand and stroping in the end you get more like scandivex. Wich is ok but I just want to be clear with that. Did I miss LT Wright scandi grind sharpening presentation?

There's some scandi mentioning in the videos but no specific Scandi sharpening video.

To touch up and edge a strop May work but a ceramic rod will work better assuming it’s a v edge saber or flat and it’s a little more dull then a strop can fix if it’s a scandi or a convex try a strop or a stone or field stone
