I usually see a bunch of other content creators at events like CES and Computex, but everyone is too busy running around making videos and going to meetings that there's never time to just hang out. um not a bad marketing move rly.... ppl represent a company much more nicely & look quite a lot better when their clothes fit well. i've actually had to downsize myself from XL to L & even down to M in some cases for my company apparel to fit me better. i feel so much better when my shirts still fit even if i'm sweating like a dog in a 90°+ warehouse

I will be honest Wendell this was some of the best coverage from a third party source of the LTX even, and I felt way more immerse from the different sections of the event you had shown in this video than most others I have seen so far. Thanks for the good content and I am glad you had such a nice time at this years event. I am hoping that if the future and my health allow it that I will be able to get to one of the next couple years events to experience for myself. It has been far far too long since I have been on any kind of vacation.

The PACNW is quite lovely. As a lifelong resident of Washington, I can attest to this. Ironically, I have never been to Vancouver B.C. Been all over the West Coast and even Alaksa, but never British Columbia. BTW, while the NW does have a lot of green, you pay for that in having many months of gray skies. Wendell, you just happened to be in this place at the right time of the year. Lot's of sun from May to September.

it's so great to have a convention that's not overshadowed by controversies or terrible planning. They really seem to have nailed it and i've only heard praises so far. I'm sure behind the scenes not everything was as smooth but knowing that most worked out fine and the attendees enjoyed it so much says a lot about the planning and training they did leading up to LTX

I heard from Plouffe that they sold a ton of tickets a week before the event, and that there was another chunk of the convention center they could have rented out. I think next year's LTX will be even better, feeling less crowded and hopefully shorter lines. Meant to say hi when I saw you, but glad you had a good time. The lines and crowds, I couldn't do. I wanted to stay to 6pm (I only attended Saturday) but having to squeeze, twist, and turn through all the people got boring. I enjoyed myself though as best I could.

I can't afford to go to LTX despite really wanting to (mostly), but thanks for talking about how intimidating and overwhelming the scale and the crowd was. I would struggle with that even in plebian obscurity, extremely impressed with the way you handled it. It's easy sometimes to make excuses for ourselves and having one built (diagnosed) in means I have to really fight it while acknowledging that it isn't always possible. If I ever get a chance to attend I'll have to really push myself, and knowing that people I think of as being like myself - only more capable - also find that difficult sometimes really helps.

Aaaaah, I wish I ran into you! I loved 2023, but 2019 for sure was much easier to randomly run into people. It's so much harder to track down everyone to talk when there are like 6k people roaming about. Overall it was a total blast though. There aren't many other places you can strike up a conversation with intel interns and get a glimpse of what it's like in the starting positions.

I would have loved to go! So many nerds with very low amounts of social energy, so we’re all on the same wavelength? Let’s gooooo! It’s so much harder when you live on the bottom of the globe though. Would have had to take a minimum of 14 hours of flying, or up to 22 if not direct, and it would cost almost 3 grand. Jarrod’s Tech is also Aussie, so it would’ve been hard.
