Lubec, Maine & Campobello Island - Visiting the US Easternmost Point!

It's time for the finale of my Maine Coastal series! Come with me as I explore the easternmost point of the United States. The town of Lubec is a lovely little seaside town along the international border with Campobello Island, New Brunswick. Along with the West Quoddy Lighthouse and state park, you can experience the furthest East that you can go in the US.
Across the strait is Campobello Island! A small Island in the New Brunswick province that hosts the Roosevelt International Park. A park dedicated to our 32nd President Franklin Delanor Roosevelt. The Island boasts 2 lovely lighthouses, stunning rocky shores, dense forest trails and of course Sugar Loaf Rock at Liberty Point.

I'm always a fan of lighthouses and these ones were great. That salmon might even make me like salmon... looked tasty. The diner vibe was cool too. Roosevelt House and the international park seemed like lovely spots to visit too.

Eastern most point of US🤔, I had been to the southernmost point in US, the keys in Florida, didn't know about the Southernmost. Lot of lighthouses and yummy food. Thanks for the tour.

There is a point in almost every direction to be fair. Funnily enough the eastern point of lubec is not too much farther east than the Florida keys.
