Not sure if anyone here still answers questions, but I have a brand new 6.7 HO coming in a month. I use for hotshotting. Going to do run the factory oil for the first 500mi and then change the oil and filtered and add an oil bypass kit. Can I start running Blue Diamond PAO (5w 40) after that 500mi oil change, or is the friction eliminators going to cause any issues with the rings and pistols mating properly because of the new engine? Thank you.

Got to a Cummins dealer, get your 3 pails of Valvoline Restore Gen 2 do a oil change, BUT at 500 and 1000 miles change your oil filter. It cleans your pistons and other sludges. And change the prints on your oil pump pick up tubes and pressure tubes, they get brittle, leak, causing lack of oil volumes. Then change your oil regularly, don't be cheap with oil, long interval changes.

So I got a cat c9 with the heui pump in my lobster boat. The normal oil change interval is 200 hrs with just cat branded 10-30 oil or just like Rotella T 10-30. Looking to get as long of an interval as possible. Would the blue diamond take me longer as long as I do my filter changes on schedule? I run your stiction eliminator in my current oil.

This is probably gonna make me sound like I’m stupid but when you say a bypass filter could you explain just how that works I’m kind of new to hot shots I love the every day treatment for my fuel but would like to learn more about the bypass filter thank you

A bypass filter takes a small percentage of your oil and filters it finer than a regular engine oil filter. We have one called Frantz that takes 10% of the oil flow to filter down to 2 microns. That is compared to 15-20 microns with a standard filter, over time it cleans the entire oil in the engine.

Read this your hot shot extreme oil additive is fantastic.i use it in my 07 cummins ISX .so i go to thinking .i had to park a few old cars i wanted to fix up .my wife had cancer sp after 8 years of being parked thay dident want to run right if at all.valves sticking real bad .so i added it to the oil got them started and idled them for an hour in just that time thay evened out and idled really nice.so in the future if i have to park for extended times ill be adding this to the oil.thank you.

Run that oil until 3000 miles. Then change to Amsoil 5w30. Signature. With filter. Done. Nitro Joe.
