Just bought 1981 200D yesterday, passenger seat is moving, but the drivers seat is not. Have to do some lubrication tomorrow and see if it works. Thank you for the tip !

Any recommendation on a paint that works on palomino leather? I have a w126 and she is going pink. I picked up sem paint for the interior panels. But I am afraid to use it on the leather.

Go to world upholstery www.worlduph.com/others/dye/. They have custom dyes in spray cans for leather.

Can you put a driver’s seat, with its lifting mechanism, on the passenger’s side? My wife wants the seat higher.

I assume you have a W123 240D. That is not the way you would want to do that. You would have difficulty reaching the height handle because it would be on the inside. You need to find a set of right side seat tracks from a 300D that have the lifting mechanism and install them on your existing right side seat
