Giolito was actually directly naming episodes and moments from them, like he clearly does actually geek out on this stuff. So cool that players watch this stuff like we do.

@@parkermaki3799 this is very true. They’re also usually pretty intelligent, and a good amount are absolute nerds, which allows them to talk deeply about the game in a way that intrigues any baseball fan.

Lucas doesn't look like an MLB player. He looks more like he's a junior associate at a small law firm.
@leroygibbons27983 жыл бұрын
he looked really nervous when Bailey mentioned his RPM going up. It's a sticky situation.
@plootoisaplanet3 жыл бұрын
don’t blame him. just how the league is rn

nah he didn’t look nervous. He maintained the same expression he had before RPM was mentioned.

At least with giolito there is a mechanics change that correlates with the spin rate going up

This is awesome! It must feel so satisfying to hear an elite MLB player talk about how much they love your videos. It’s also great to see a more human side of a Cy young candidate. You deserve it Bailey!

Using MLB the Show as an active visualization tool is really interesting. I’ve thought about it as a scouting tool as it’s being described, but having the difficulty all the way down at beginner and mowing them down is a hilarious albeit a bit unrealistic way to get confident going into a start.
