This kid is so sick. One of the most clutch players we have had in a long time and you can tell he really wants to win. I have high hopes for him

You could see the influence Patrick Kane had on Raymond as the season went on. That signing was worth its weight in gold!

I can only imagine the amount of mentorship he’s taken from Kaner over the last few months. It was probably amazing for his confidence.

I’ve seen Lucas since his first game days growing up. He has such a winner mentality and seeing him grow and his maturity from year to year is so inspiring to follow. Wishing him all the best 🥳 ( KIK ftw 😜)

On the whole, Hockey players are so good. So cool how Lucas thanks the media as he is finishing up.

A mixture of being typically Swedish (the mentality, being friendly and mature/humble, and sometimes boring as shit (PK)) also being one of Detroit's front faces (poster boy, there of the mix of both worlds). Him grown and his maturity from year to year is so inspiring to follow. Really a very good ambassador for today's modern PRO hockey. Certainly a lot of his parents and their upbringing reflected here, we mustn't forget what present parents mean and the support given at an early age can mean to an individual young person like Raz was. I personally wonder how long it gone takes before he stops every answer with an "Um", so typical of us from the west coast of Sweden, hilarious to hear.

I think The Captain has put together the makings of a great team. I have never seen a team try harder than did the Wings when they beat Montreal in Detroit

I was in the Bell. As they're among the most obnoxious fans to their opponents, looking around and seeing so many mouths agape at once with 3.3 left was incredibly satisfying.
@borderway12 күн бұрын
Lucas was crushed that they didn't get in, but he'll realize how much he has accomplished and what he means to the team. That disappointment will help him build determination and a sense of perspective that helps weather tough stretches. I personally haven't seen a season of growth like his in any other player, he's risen to an elite level. He'll be re-signed, compensated well and back for at least the next several years.

I’m glad the draft worked out the way it did! Honestly him and Mo both could’ve been first picks
@Thrashman-ye4cf16 күн бұрын
This man earned a big contract this year. He pretty much willed this team to the hopes of a playoff spot all the way up to game 82 by himself. He’s only getting better, and he’s proved that he has that fire in him to get things done when we need him to, when he’s pissed off lol

@billjohansson8816 күн бұрын
Yep, his IQ saves him so many times from being completely overrun, little things he does that fool the opponents. Play off will be one more step to overcome, however I am not worried about his health. I've seen Lucas since his first game coming to Frolunda. Raz will only evolve and become even more complete over time here. Pretty easy to see that his ceiling is to be RW's best winger, then we have his personal qualities that really show in these press releases today. Damn what a development the guy has had in these three fast years as good as he is today, Oboy. Smart guy not to go over for Worlds, very good reason as last year it was long and took a toll on his body. Worlds and World cups come and go, a bit like the Olympics sometimes. Well done Raz, very proud Swede here. So one more summer with bestie Rasmus Dalin, maybe I'll take my beer belly out to the coast and see what you come up with this year.

His balance is already very good and I expect him to add muscle so once he gains more strength he will be extremely hard to knock off the puck

I can, I think people’s expectations of what Cat was going to deliver was too high.
@Jakeode16 күн бұрын
I agree but look at what cat did, he wasn’t a liability on defense in which everyone thought, he was tenacious, agressive and relentless. Him and Raymond may pan out to be THE guys you want to see together, they can both pass and score I wanna see cat Larkin razor as the first line for years
@vmi417216 күн бұрын
The Debrincat we saw in Ottawa is the real Debrincat. He benefited big time from playing with a prime Kane so he fooled a lot of people but never fooled me. He's still a 20ish gals 60ish point player maybe can give us 70 points here and there so he's still a valuable player but maybe not worth that contact.
@borderway12 күн бұрын
Although Cat didn't score as much as we hoped, he showed me a grit and determination to retrieve pucks and forecheck I didn't know he had. I like it when he's grumpy.
@stevegorman577812 күн бұрын
@@vmi4172I agree to a certain point. Both Kane and him with Chicago were both great players offensively but defensively they were horrible (Kane still is) but honestly cat surprised me and atleast tried to play a more defensive game and in the end he succeeded. Kane put up some good numbers and had some key goals for us but defensively he was horrible. Yes he scored a few winners but some of his defensive blunders are what put in those situations at times as well . So to me cat wasn’t as big of a goal scorer as we thought we were getting but all round he was a lot better.

Its not philly's fault. Its ours, we shouldn't rely on other teams. We should've beaten Washington. We shouldn't have gone on multiple losing streaks.

My concern with Lucas is that he is really taking a beating to perform at the level he is, don't know how long he can keep that up but it is great to see a Wing go to those wicked area's to get the goals and win the battles.
@MagicMan1113016 күн бұрын
I’m not worried about it at all. Debrincat is significantly smaller than Lucas, and he hardly misses a game. He’s got a high enough IQ to stay relatively safe on the ice.
