ER nurse. This is an old wives tale. There's no evidence that going to sleep after a head injury increases damage. the concern is that if you're asleep people might not be able to notice a change in mentation and be able to get you the level of care you need. For example if you're asleep nobody would notice if you were starting to have difficulty communicating or walking, different signs that there could be major swelling or bleeding that would need emergency care.

HIII!!! Girl who was called a fat whore!!!! I literally grabbed the box of pencils she wanted right before she walked up to grab lmaooooo No did not make me stronger, made me self conscious and anxious… also started a wholeeeee bunch of issues with my weight and my relationship with food 😅 When I got older though I lost 80lbs (with her words replaying in my head to keep me going 😅😅😅) so I guess in that sense it made me stronger hahahaha She had a rough home life and older siblings so that’s why she knew what that even meant, but like come on let’s let kids be kids!! Like Jacob said it def wasn’t the definition of an actual Whore, but just something she had heard used and knew it was a negative insult, but I DID know what fat meant and that was one of the first times someone actually called me that so it still was a brain altering moment for me that I will never ever forget 😅😅 I feel like I had more to respond to but I’m adhd so I don’t remember lol Anyway thank you for reacting to my comment!!! Ok - can't believe I'm going to tell this bizarre story from when I was like 12 or 13 (so 40ish years ago). My brother and I "adopted" these three big teddy bear hamsters from somewhere - who knows where. They were full grown and all boys so we wouldn't need to worry about baby bear hamsters. But it was like a damn orgy in that cage. I finally asked my mom why these guys were "mating" since they were both boys and I had not been fully educated on such things. She just said "there is homosexuality in the animal kingdom" and walked away. No opportunity for any follow up questions or clarification (that's how most sh*t was dropped on us - including my father's cancer diagnosis a few years later). But I'll never forget my introduction to the alleged LGBTQ hamster community. I've been a passionate supporter since childhood. Love is love. After a lifetime with animals - I'm pretty sure it was a territory/dominance thing. But I think about those little dudes sometimes. Like today. R.I.P. penguin dude 🐧 (Side note: how is there a dodo emoji but not a damn penguin ffs?!?)

Ive experienced the threatening finger guns 😅 several years ago i was driving to work in the morning and i was at a stop light for a protected left turn. The car in front of me was stopped at red and i was behind them.. the light turned green and they didn’t move 10 seconds probably past without them moving so i gave a small honk. Not even anything crazy or aggressive. Then they stayed put until it went red again. Then the next green we both went and they really quick maneuvered so they were next to me and held up finger guns and pretended to shoot me… it was like 6am I was headed to my job as an intern and then this happened to start my day… I broke into tears and was so scared they were going to come find me and murder me LOL even though they were fingers it still felt incredibly threatening

I stayed at the Stanley hotel last summer actually!! I did the ghost tour which if you didn’t do that you should go back and do the ghost tour it was definitely crazy. I went to the bar there also. We were allowed to take pics not video during the tour and I’m pretty sure I caught something. If you want to see any pics let me know haha . There is a hedge maze also that I went through haha 😂 so cool you guys went there too!
