What's coolest about this is that some of these are like jazz harmonies or maybe modern avant garde classical. As I always say about reactions to this piece, I was lucky to be at the world premiere of this at the Kennedy Center in September 2023 with Max Ferdinand and the Aeolians. It was just a couple of days after the concert there with Laughey and Dodie . I wish I had known about that one. This performance , the audience choir and Alita Moses and Jacob singing Bach with the orchestra and his mom on violin were all among the many highlights that night.

The Aeolians are so beyond just world class. It's a magical composition and arrangement, but I can't think of any other large group of singers that could come close to giving it as much weight as that group does.

How unbelievably lucky I am to have been born in this blessed era! We are living in the time of a true genius, the Mozart of our century: Jacob Collier. Every note he touches transcends human comprehension, every harmony he crafts redefines perfection. To witness his brilliance is to brush against eternity with every listen. I can only be in absolute awe of such a musical miracle!

Amazing song and reaction. Jacob is one of a kind. If you want to check more of him try his version of Bridge over troubled water. Amazing harmonies and scales.

Just incredible, right?? May I suggest another amazing and moving performance from Jacob: Jacob with Laufey and Dodie and the National Symphony Orchestra performing "Wild Mountain Thyme". Have fun!
