The “Blonde” is his blonde Stratocaster guitar and his “mistress” is the stage calling him to perform again. He didn’t cheat on his wife Dorothea. 🙂

I absolutely love your reaction. It’s the same reaction all of us women had back in the day. And still have today. John’s voice was masterful and he was a fabulous frontman with boundless energy. He has an innate sensuality that can be mesmerizing. That “look” you mention, among other characteristics, can do wonderful things 😍. Btw, the bands name is a play on his real name, John Bongiovi. He’s half Italian. If you haven’t already, you might want to check out the alternate video for “Always” and the official videos for “Blaze of Glory”, “I’ll Be There For You”, “Santa Fe”, “Lay Your Hands on Me”, and “This Ain’t a Love song”. For more great music there’s “I Said I Loved You, but I Lied” by Michael Bolton (everything by him is worth a listen), “We Are Love” by il Volo, “When a Man Loves a Woman” by Home Free, “Alone” by Heart, “Love Hurts” by Nazareth and “Black Velvet” by Alanna Myles. Also works by The BeeGees, Armik and Ottmar Liebert.

I'm 27. I became a fan that was introduced by their post 2000s music. Check out songs like It's My Life, Have A Nice Day, All About Loving You, Make a Memory, This House Is Not For Sale, Every Day, and One Wild Night for more modern Jovi. I listed all ones that have music videos! 😊 I'll Be There For You is one of the best ones from the 80s. Always is beautiful but the video doesn't suit it at all. Some of my favorite ones that don't have music videos include Complicated, Luv Can, Bullet, Any Other Day, and This Is Love This Is Life, and We Don't Run to name a few. 😂

It’s about the job/the touring getting between he and his wife who have been together since high school. He is a phenomenal writer, he really is. And yeah, he was beautiful. Richie wasn’t bad either;-) I was so lucky to see them live twice at Wembley Stadium. They are epic live. Absolutely epic. Interesting you started in with one of his biggest love songs :-) Who doesn’t want this sort of devotion? X

Okay, this might be a little long, bon Jovi is my favorite band and Jon is absolutely extraordinary. It was the spring of 1983, the senior I as a sophomore road to school with was pretty cool. He didn't like bon Jovi, the debut album, so he gave it to me. Me. That's when I fell in love with bon Jovi. And it was their first album. I've seen them in concert five times, I've seen well over 150 concerts in my life. The five best concerts I've ever seen were all bon Jovi. He isn't just an extraordinary singer with an extraordinary voice, he is an over-the-top entertainer. He loves his fans as much as we love him. So I'm going to tell you a story about the fourth time I saw bon Jovi which was the best concert I've ever seen. I got stood up at the last minute. Who stands somebody up right before a bon Jovi concert? Her loss! I don't even remember who she was because when I get stood up I have no interest thereafter. So I call up one of my best friends, she was at work and I asked. Are you sitting down? She says no. What do you need. I said you need to sit down. She's like what's wrong. I'm like nothing. Just please sit down. She says just tell me. I asked. Are you free tonight, I have an extra bon Jovi ticket, for the next 3 minutes. All I heard was screaming. She got herself wounded and almost collapsed. I said I told you to sit down. So I picked her up from work on the way to the concert cuz it was literally just a couple of hours before the concert when I was told I didn't have a date. On the way to the stadium, I asked my friend what's the best concert you've ever seen. She said well I've seen this one and this one and this one and they were all good but she didn't have a favorite. Favorite. She said what's the best concert you've ever seen? I said bon Jovi. She's smiled. We got to wear seats, Daughtry opened and they were amazing. When they were done playing, I said wow! That's the second best opening band I've ever seen. She said who's the best opening band you've ever seen? I said bon Jovi this time. She kind of smirked at me. The stadium was about half full and she said I expected more people here, I just smiled. She went to the restroom. She came back from the restroom I said. Do you notice anything? She said what, I said where are all the empty seats? She said oh my God, where did everyone come from? I said it's bon Jovi. The show was extraordinary, literally the only performance I can think of that even compared was queen for live aid in 85. The most epic part and this is the part that your reaction reminded me of and filled me with joy again. Halfway through their performance, Richie sambora, the lead guitarist, the one on the mountain with the cowboy hat, he sang and performed. I'll be there for you, one of the bands, most famous songs. During that 3 minutes song or so, John changed clothes and cooled off a little, it gets very hot on the stage and they run around a lot so they get sweaty. When Richie sambora finished that song, the spotlight went to wear center ice would be. The concert was being performed where the Arizona Coyotes play. When the spotlight shown on middle ice, Jon, bon Jovi was there. He started to perform bed of roses. He didn't have a microphone in his hand. He was wearing a headset. As he started singing the song, he started walking towards the stage about 150 ft away. As he was walking he was touching with both hands as many fans as he could as he walked towards the stage. I don't think there were a lot of dry eyes in the stadium. Watching him express his love for his fans, reciprocating hours for his. I have tears in my eyes. Just trying to tell you the story. I have never seen anyone express that. Much love for fans. He does a lot of philanthropic work as well. He has a restaurant that hungry people can get a meal at and wash dishes or just promise to pay it forward. He does a lot for charity and he is a strong Democrat trying to make the world a better place. And the last little piece, as we were waiting for the crowd to clear, Phoenix traffic is horrible. There was no point in getting to your car quickly and just sitting in a parking lot for an hour so we chatted after waiting for the traffic to clear. I asked her again, what's the best concert you've ever seen. She blushed a little and said bon Jovi.

That is my favorite Bon Jovi song! Since you enjoyed it so much, you might want to check out Journey's 1981 Escape Tour concert in Houston (if you're not already familiar with it). It's one the greatest live performances with Steve Perry, whom Jon Bon Jovi nicknamed "The Voice." (It's also reported that when a reporter asked Freddie Mercury what it was like to have the greatest voice in music, he replied "I don't know. Ask Steve Perry.") "Don't Stop Believing" is the anthem, but it's all spectacular.
