Lucifer is at "full power" when it comes to his self actualization stuff. He's no longer randomly vulnerable, he can choose to be vulnerable if he wants to, now. His therapy worked.
@mr.midgardville2 жыл бұрын
Technically if he was at "full power" he could technically do just about anything.. travel in time like Rory, or stop time like Amenadiel, or read patterns like Uriel. Etc. Cause they all self actualise their powers so in theory, couldn't Lucifer do all those things if he could control his inner self enough. 🤔
@perssontm16282 жыл бұрын
@@mr.midgardville Yeah, his full potential is definetely godlike, which is what I like to think God is. Just like all the other angels, he's just so self aware he can do anything.

@@perssontm1628 No, Lucifer is not and could not be all powerfull like God. He has the power of an angel in this show. In the comics he's actually close to God in power with one exception, he cannot create something out of nothing, only Michael can do that.
@solemnsovereign7582 жыл бұрын
Can't Michael only do that if God lets him? Doesn't he need the demigurgos in order to create stuff?
@demoui72 жыл бұрын
@@solemnsovereign758 But Michael is Demiurgos. He's literally named 'Michael Demiurgos'. Demiurgos BTW literally means 'creator' in Greek (Δημιουργός). So God can create anything and manipulate it. I wonder if we'll ever get an appearance of Tom Ellis as Lucifer in Netflix's Sandman series. Gwendoline Christie will be playing Lucifer in that show, but since both shows are on Netflix, and since Ellis' version is so popular, it would be cool if they found out a fun way for him to make at least a brief appearance. Maybe the new version of Lucifer will appear as a man at one point.

I actually cried the moment that “Welcome To The Black Parade” by My Chemical Romance played in this episode. Not only is it one of my all time favorite songs but it was so perfectly used for closing out this show. And I loved the genius full circle arc of Lucifer no longer being a punisher or a warden, but a healer. This is honestly one of the best final seasons in all of television history. As much as I have loved this show each season sometimes averaged between 7-8, but this season is an 11! Thank you Netflix for saving this show and thank you to the cast and crew of Lucifer for giving us one of the best endings ever to one of the most awesome shows in all of entertainment. Enjoyed your full reaction to this last episode. Overall I enjoyed it and was satisfied with the ending. My only real gripe is the lack of Trixie being in the loop. I mean where was she at her mothers deathbed, plus what did she think about Lucifer disappearing? I know the actress couldn’t be there much but it annoyed me. I think the writers have also said that Lucifer did pop up to see Chloe. I mean, as long as Rory never knew that wouldn’t change her timeline and I don’t buy he never saw Chloe again during her human life. As for the show as a whole, I agree about the procedural elements being weak, but for me the reason I enjoyed the series was seeing the characters develop. The story of the week was always secondary to me. I do think though that with a lesser main cast this series wouldn’t have had the success and fan love it has. That core group were just lovely to watch. Finally, bravo to Rick for sticking with it. I admit, I expected him to drop out pretty early on! Oh and I still hope one day you’ll watch Dark!

I liked Lucifer becoming the Dr. Linda counselor of Hell (and bringing back Linda's ex and the French bad guy to show them getting therapy, and still working on their issues, lol). And I like Amenadiel becoming AmenaGod (lol). What an incredible journey Amenadiel has been on, since season 1 episode 1. It's so cool. But I will always be a little annoyed that they inserted this new daughter instead of using the wonderful one they already had (Trixie). I know things got complicated for getting the Trixie actress by that point, but why didn't they at least have an adult Trixie by Chloe's bedside when she died? That felt wrong. And I wasn't as emotionally invested in Rory as I would have been in Trixie. To introduce someone completely new and with that kind of importance in their lives in a final season just felt like it wasn't honoring everything they'd done beforehand with these characters.
@Legoboy55able2 жыл бұрын
The showrunners said that having different characters who should have been there for her death would have been too confusing because the viewers would be too focused on "wait is that...?" Rather than the emotion of the scene, so the canonical explanation given to us is that Trixie, as well as some other characters, are stood outside of the room so that Chloe could have some privacy with Rory to grant each other some closure.

46:10 Hmm. As far as I know, she now has one character for "Marvel" and one for "DC". They would co-exist in the Multiverse, because that was created before "Saint Elsewhere" was created. The series finale of that series gave us "The Tommy Westphall Universe" by the way.
@thewerewolff72484 ай бұрын
Not sure what you’re talking about but they would co exist in the omniverse, not the multiverse. Both marvel and dc have referenced the idea of the larger omniverse, with the idea being that the marvel multiverse and the various different dc multiverses (comics multiverse, arrowverse multiverse, animated multiverse etc etc) are all in the same omniverse

I'm not a fan of the necessary absencd, but the way I see it is Lucifer can't leave because he'd be gone for thousands of years. Or even hundreds if he just came up for 5 minutes on a birthday. So him leaving at all would deprive people of therapy or set them back. I do kinda wish Rory was the one to escort her mother into heaven a la Charlotte via Amenadiel. Then they could've had a family reunion rather than just Chloe. We were also very Trixie deprived due to the actress being busy/unable to make it to set. I feel like they could've squeezed one or two more episodes at the end, but am overall happy with the ending given the pandemic and what they could get done.

The thing about Lucifer is he needs to go through things in order for him to realize what he needs to do so even though he helped people in hell he wasn’t going to come to that realization by himself. He needed a push, because remember Lucifer always blames himself, and so when his daughter told him, it’s not your fault, and this is what you meant to do that’s when he realizes it’s extremely important because it helped his daughter so much and he loves his daughter so much that he wants to do this for other people too. Because even if he came to the realization himself, I don’t think it would feel as important and as necessary if he didn’t realize how much he helped the daughter that he loved.

Personally, I felt that while there were a lot of good and satisfying conclusions to characters (like Dan, Charlotte, Chloe, and Ella) I felt that Lucifer's character arc was a little unsatisfying. The end of Lucifer's character arc was right and overall it was pretty good but the fact that he didn't become god AND THEN realize that he doesn't want to be god it what made it feel unsatisfying to me. Like it the comics where he becomes god of his own universe, I was hoping to see some translation of that here in this show. Either way this is a great show and a solid conclusion.

As for what Aaron was talking about, here's the puzzle: Three people check into a hotel. They pay $30 to the manager and go to their rooms. The manager finds out the room rate is $25 and gives $5 to the bellboy to return to them. On the way to the room, the bellboy reasons it would be difficult to split $5 between three people nicely, so he pockets $2 and gives $1 to each person. Now each person paid $10 and got $1 back. So they each paid $9 totaling $27. The bellboy has $2. Where is the last dollar?
