But when all of the angels and demons and everyone bowed down to him, she knew that they had one. Michael has been defeated which means the only other candidate for God was out of the picture. This would OBVIOUSLY imply that Lucifer is God, as Lucifer brought out the Angels’ desires and said that they don’t want Lucifer as God, but also do t want Michael either. Lucifer had proved himself, further heightening the Angels’ likelihood for choosing Lucifer Michael didn’t threaten them. Chloe knew all of this bc she was there to witness it. She knew who the Angels favored and once the only threat that disabled them from choosing lucifer was gone, they HAD to bow down to someone. And when a bunch of Angels bow down to someone, it means they’re god. Evidence of that would be the fact that Michael lost and lucifer won, therefore granting him the victory of the battle, AKA the time of God. Also, Chloe and Lucifer talked abt how Chloe would be by Lucifer’s side aiding him. Ofc she won’t bow.

I am pretty sure it worked just like his devil face. God sent him to help the damned in hell but never actually banished him from heaven. Just like God never turned him into his other form.He felt he deserved to be, so he was. Which was why any time he tried to return, he began to burn. As soon as he forgave himself, the devil went away, and as soon as he realized that he deserved a second chance and was worthy of being in heaven, he stopped manifesting the flames and was fine. God doesn't actually DO anything in the show. He simply gives vague but seemingly important guidance and then gives you the free will to make choices based on the things in front of you. It's up to you what you do and how you feel about it afterwards. If you think you deserve punishment, your mind does the rest, and you get it. If you forgive yourself, you are forgiven. It's just that celestial beings' conscience literally manifests itself into existence all the time, where for humans, it only does that after death.

Amenadial is killed by Lucifer in the comics. Season 6 is actually the beginning of the show’s timeline, similar to the episode “Once Upon A Time” (season 3 episode 26). Lucifer defeats the Presence in the comics as well. Lucifer has just entered Hell since His “father” put Him there, & Chloe dies relative to God’s time. Therefore, Lucifer experienced Chloe’s life and returns her to Heaven by Season 5, where He sacrifices Himself for her (although He survives this)
