DC cosmology is a based around the Judeo Christian religion. Marvel cosmology isn't based on any religion (Actually judeo Christian religion exists in marvel. But it's still another pantheon in many) . Also DC Norse gods are close to their mythological counterparts while marvel Norse gods are treated more like regular superheroes.

The presence created multiverses... on the last iteration he created jsut the multiverse empty.. and created 3 archons.. Michael, Samael (lucifer) and Gabriel... Michael creates energy at will inifitenly.. samael can shape everything in the mutliverse.. so he shapes energy into matter and matter into stars.. etc.. Gabriel can bring life. After life was created.. the 7 Endless started to appear.. Detiny, Death, Dream, Destruction, Desire,Despair,Delight. The living beings believe and dream of gods... so gods start o appear as part of Dream (the endless). All pantheons and other gods are spawns of Dream (sandman) or are just physical powerful beings. @@tec-6tec-662 The lucifer in the series is an ego maniac narcisit, with a very very shallow personality that wastes his time doing useless things like solving crimes just because he wants to have sex with the detective.. The comics are about the prime creation of god, the first living thing... he is older than death.. therefore he cannot die... the most intelligent and wise and powerful creature in the multiverse.. the guy that created every single star and planet.. yet he almost never uses violence.. he NEVER EVER LIES.. yet he makes people and gods do as he wishes... with his cunning. A being that is faster than the flash... but takes a bus to get to a specific place.. because.. well why would a being as old as the multiverse hurry ?.. he might take the time to watch the sun and the clouds by the window.. or maybe talk to an old lady... His desire is to step out of gods plan.. he wants freedom and have a deep sense of honor and respect for anyone seeking freedom. He is not a shallow character that suffer from human vices... he is above good and evil. Yet they made a story that is deeply involving and that you want to know what happens next every single page...

@@tiagodagostini It's 100% the same person. Just a different take on him due to it being live action version. He's more true to the comic version than a lot of people give credit for. He would rather use his mind and intellect than his actual powers. Same way his comic version rarely uses his abilities even though he could literally warp reality as he see's fit on a whim he would rather manipulate and use his intelligence than use his actual powers because that would be too easy and boring for him. That's how I view the TV show version. Has the same powers but just doesn't use them because it's too easy

@@tiagodagostini Yeah his personality is slightly different but there's points in the show where he looks all somber and nonchalant while drinking or playing the piano which is his personality in the comics. Season 2 he sliced a hole in reality with a blade and gave the goddess of creation her own universe to rule. It's implied Lucifer created that universe specifically for her to rule because it was a void and at the time she was about to explode with light. He obviously manipulates that energy and for her own universe. He's got the power but just doesn't flaunt it because there'd be no point of having a show if he solved every single problem with a gesture

I doubt he’s dead he’s probably in a different realm altogether and he left them there to decide their own paths since most of them bitch about Him always choosing for them and “every path is laid out for me by you I didn’t get to choose” kind of angsty teenage BS drama; kinda like the “One above all” in a sense that he leaves it to the Living tribunal and he just wants to observe his creation do their thing. I mean if I were him I’d be sick and tired; all them assholes want to prove themselves and say they don’t need your help, your power and they can decide their own future but when they face the consequences they want you to bail them out, and when you don’t they complain about you not being there for them and abandoning them. This led to Fenris the Norse God of destruction taking control of Lucifer making him attack Michael. Michael was wounded fatally and was dying. The power within Michael would destroy all of the DC Multiverse upon his death but Lucifer managed to transfer all of Michael's power and energy which is called the (Dunamis Demiergos) which is Gods Power into Michaels Daughter Elaine effectively making her God ooof the whole DC Multiverse
