Hey Man you put down more turkeys then the Butterball Company!
@dapolease56602 жыл бұрын
He kills more turkeys in 1 season than the average Turkey hunter will kill in a lifetime. His videos have changed how I now do things. If you notice when he hears a close random gobble or gets a reply, he doesn’t run for the closest tree and set up. He studies the terrain and the temperature of the Turkey and gets a game plan. Doing this has helped me tremendously. Something you gotta remember is Turkeys have all day to do nothing, basically. Slow it down, patience and woodsman ship brings in the birds.
@farmboy28482 жыл бұрын
No dought.. helped me slow it down and enjoy the process

Man that’s so true. They have all day to do what they do. Over the past couple years I’ve also learned to slow down, take my time and make my setups count. Filling more tags than ever!

Watched him strut for three hours until he broke and walked past me at 15 yards… that was a BAAAADD turkey lol. Worth every hour learning him. Love this series of videos Dave thanks for your work.

What a hunt Dave. Great work! My buddy and I had a bird like that this last season out here in California. My buddy hit him with an arrow, he lived, and it took us another month after that to get him with a gun. Ended up having to ambush him.. no calling, no decoy, no nothing.

Well, I doubt I'll ever forget that turkey from just watching the video. I need to get that one out of my "now" brain and file him away in the back, because while that may be very useful and instrumental in getting some psycho bird at the end of my barrel one day, I can see it causing doubt, indecision, and mistakes on "normal" turkeys. What an unusual, super-sketchy personality and what an awesome hunt. Thanks for taking us along.

Again called too much. You said “ I don’t know what he’s putting at” he was putting because he knew he should see a hen.He pin pointed your location from over calling. That bird didn’t deserve to die like that. No different then shooting him out of the roost.
